well it isnt a tutorial :P ... sure the GUI is easy but it does give problems to some though ... i think mine's the easiest for doing it the manual way ... :)
Nowhere in the entire topic does anyone have a complaint or problem with the GUI. Maybe you should stop over-praising yourself for a mediocre tutorial.

I actually used the one found HERE Which I guess is somewhat similar to the one igizmore posted...So, as long as I have a functioning battery and a magical memory stick-I could give two shits as to who posted the better tutorial...Because god knows that readme file from C+D was lacking a great deal...Hats off to you guys (C+D) for putting together an awesome program, but make it a little less cumbersome next time you write the readme file...Thanks

Actually I agree with Link3737. See I posted the GUI to show YOU (igizmore) how it is/feels to be thread crapped on while in someone else's tutorial that I MADE A STICKY. Sorry touran22 it wasn't meant towards what you have done for everyone....But getting back to the real problem, igizmore YOU need to follow your own "words of wisdom" and keep YOUR own crap to yourself.

No, you have to format even if you're just doing the battery.

I'm not really sure either, try it without formatting... probably won't work but try anyway :)

Yes, you need to first format the memory stick via your PSP, then format it once again afterwards logically via your computer using the mspformat utility included in the package...The battery wont work alone if thats what you are getting at...You need both the battery and the memory stick to unbrick and/or downgrade...You can also continue to use the "magical" memory stick as you normally would...

You can certainly try it using HEN-D...You just need to format your memory stick from the psp menu, then again on your computer like it says in the instructions...

Yes, borrow a mate's PSP that as 1.50/CFW on it. Or buy a ready made battery. Or jut do the normal lumines downgrader...

You don't have to have one just to downgrade. Only if you are trying to do it using the Pandora battery, which in your case with 3.5 is not necessary.
