^^I think they are asking if the battery can be converted back to a normal one after using it to downgrade/unbrick...

@feelyou-If that is the case, then yes it can be done as long as you save(d) the battery's eeprom when using the pandora battery creator.

You're welcome-If by chance you didnt backup your eeprom when creating the battery, I would use the program Rogdrik/Rorro_Rey suggested to create a new serial for your battery.

when you convert the battery it can only be used for pandora, but if you make a back up of the battery, you can convert it back to normal

yea ur local modder... dont ask us if we know ne cuz its against the rules
either that u can find a cfw psp and use these steps
if ur really desperate and dont got one search pandoras battery without cfw. just risk blowing up ur battery this way like i did:(
Then theres datel battery tool wich is the above thing but u dont have to risk anything just pay some tho

I hav a problem with my hardmodded battery
so two nights ago i opened my battery and i cut pin 5 of ICO4 which is pretty much the steps ur sposed to do and the battery turned on automatically- in other words it worked and was in service mode
i was tired so i went to sleep
wen i made the magic ms in the morning my battery suddenly was dead!
so i put it in charger and left it
this morning i came and put the ms and then the jigkick and nothing happened. i tried to open manually but nothing... when i put in charger nothing happens
im guessing its my memory sticks fault cuz it was 64mb when min i shud have used is 128mb but im wondering now 2 things
1 whats wrong with my battery? is this normal? that i have to open psp from adapter first then put in battery? or is my battery fried
2nd is there anyway you can fix a broken sony memory stick?

Caps lock = Shouting.

Don't shout.

No, it's not, there is another guide here (same forum section) that works when using Vista, it's stickied.

Guide for Vista if you have a CFW PSP:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/580254

Guide that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, with Vista if you don't have a CFW PSP:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313

There may be others, just look around.

a) I am very sorry for double posting. I don't know how to edit my posts!

1. Uh... Try putting the pin back and I think I saw this tutorial on soldering a wire on two points on the battery (I don't remember what site though). Maybe you should get a new battery if all else fails.

2. Ok, what do you mean your MS is broken? If you mean how to format it and access it then get a card reader for your PC. There are cheap ones starting from $10 to the ones that read almost any type of card which are $30 here in Canada. Then format MS (via PC and card reader) to get it working again.
If it's a hardware problem (like the pads aren't getting scanned) then go to someone who can fix it.
