If you're using phat PSP,make sure 1.50kernel add-on is installed. If you're using a slim,I'm sorry to say, slim doesnt support this homebrew ^^
yeah am using fat psp with ofw 3.73 .does it mean i must install 1.50kenel addon? please help
Errr... the kernel add-on is for CUSTOM firmware, not official. And it only applies to 3.71 M33 anyway.
now wat will i use to downgrade my psp?
now ti means i cant downgrade a ofw 3.73 psp using pandora's battery?please tutukuay how can i create a pandora's battery using my psp with ofw 3.73?help me please

U can either borrow a fren's fat PSP to create the Pandora set,or buy it off from ebay or head down to your nearest PSP shop to hav it downgraded. Coz for your current version it's impossible to use an UMD to downgrade. Hopes tis help ^^

Of coz u can!A Pandora set is for you to downgrade your PSP from an Official Firmware to version 1.50 den slowly upgrade to the latest cfw or straight to 3.80M33-5 (Current version) if Despertar del Cementerio is installed in your magic stick ^^

i think you like posting inside quotes

Ok - let's make out posts useful not a commentary on members using the quote function.
Personally I find the nested quotes annoying but that's just me - but I rarely say anything unless it starts throwing the page off.

i've converted my battery to the pandora battery countless times from my 3.03 OE-C psp. Whenever i put it in my ceramic white 3.11 psp, the pandora wont load up... it just shows the green power on and nothing on the screen. And, when i put it back into the original psp, it wont start up there too. I've used the Pandora GUI, and no luck.. any suggestions? please pm or respond to this please:).

did you make the magic memory stick? because the battery by itself is useless.

just complete the magic memory stick installation. you don't need to do the battery again.

works on all psp's. slim or fat. color doesn't make a difference, as they have the same motherboards. (fat = ta-082/086, slim = ta-085)

i think if you use american firmware on a japanese psp, you will just switch over to american firmware, and the x/o buttons will be switched.

not sure if you can use japanese firmware to upgrade, so you can have japanese custom firmware.

upgrade at your own risk. i've only done american psp's, so i can't say anything about japanese psp's.

when you finish the magic memory stick, you can upgrade straight to 3.80 m33; it should be an option on the menu. no need to start from 1.50, unless you have problems.

Yea, it'll work on Japanese PSPs, they are exactly the same as the others around the world, i've got a Japanese TA-079 that i've used Pandora on a few times, been to every custom firmware 3.10 OE-A and above at least twice.

Quote:Quick guide to converting your battery written by jas0nuk

If you only have one battery and want to unbrick your PSP, you can.

1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator", but before you press X, press TRIANGLE to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin
2) Unbrick your PSP as normal
3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick. Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger, it will not start up)
4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery
5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again
6) Press L+R to restore the ms0:/eeprom.bin to your battery

NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally, but there could be side-effects.

Have fun, and thanks to everyone in the Prometheus/C+D team.

i tried that and it didnt work
i pressed triangle then it closed then i opened it agin and made battery then i unbricked and now wen i press L+R it sez error writing 0x14 and then it sez done but wen i start my psp with the battery it still goes to service mode... wats wrong? do i have to delete the stuff on the mstick first or wat? i know i backed up my eeprom cuz i saw it in the psp drive
i dont wana try the [] thing yet cuz its not my battery and i dont want the side efffects
PLZ HELP!

Yes, it's called the UPMS (v3).

There's a guide on here how to do it, and it hardly takes any time.
