Do a factory reset again, then when it starts the fast scan press ok,it will save , then go to power scan start at around 250 mhz and stop around 450 mhz,on symbol rate 6.887 then ok on 8.

The title of this thread is soooooo misleading. Loaded the Eurovox MaxV fw from one of the first posts only to find this is not a fix for N** in Ireland. Ah well, never get those few minutes back....:(

Do a hard reset
plug out the power cord for 30 minutes and then plug it in again
if you still have the same problem you could disassemble the box and reset the cables inside and see if that makes a difference.
Last call would be to purchase a j-tag to fix it.

Power off box
There are 3 screws at the back and 2 on the sides.
Remove those, take off cover and plug each cable out then back in.
I have no pics so you will have to use your own judement.
It may help by resetting the cables but it sounds like you may have to get a jtag

I have never need to reset my cables but its what I would try as when working with faulty pc/laptops we always that all components are set correctly.

I don't think you have a clone as the box wouldn't have worked with the new fix if it was
