:-(

downgrading system version dont seemed to have cured my games crashing..

play for a while the black screen tell me to eject disc and check wii manual??
is this likely to be trucha signed problem, or my d2sun chip?

Only 3.3 would stop trucha signing and if the games play for a while before crashing its nothing like that.

How old are the disks and what make are they ?

Have you tried playing a recently burned backup ?

What happens when you play an original ?

Hi, I just updated my Wii to 3.3e and I don't have homebrew installed in my system. I want to downgrade my Wii to 3.2e so I can play burned game again.

Is there a way to install the REV3 installer and downgrader without using the Twilight Princess Hack?

The reason I'm asking this is because I don't have the original Twilight Princess disk.

Thanks [in advance]

No, but you don't need the original disk, any copy of TP will do it.

[edit] just make sure you use the right version of the TP hack for the version of TP you have.

EDIT: NVM my message, it worked!!! Although my system wasn't able to load any burned game, it could load Twilight Princess. I had to config my chip to override region ON.

From there, I use the TP hack to load Homebrew and downgrade my system to 3.2U.

Thank YOU SO MUCH

-----------------------------------------------------------
Hi, thank you ggbarnum for your prompt response.

I followed the instruction of the TP hack for v3.3 and it doesn't work, simply because my Wii cannot read the burned TP game. I have USA Wii and USA TP game (burned); according to the TP hack, I must "launch the game and select the TP hack savegame and load it." I am stuck at this step: I can't launch the game, just like how I can't launch any other burned game after I have updated the system to v3.3.

I have already copied the savegame hack from my SD card into the Wii system.

Thanks [in advance]

Quote:
=== Installation ===

You'll need:
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii version)
- An SD card, at most 2GB in size.
- An SD card reader
- Some homebrew to load

Copy the 'private' directory from this archive to your SD
card, overwriting any existing Zelda saves or previous
versions of the hack. Find whatever homebrew you wish to
run, copy it to the root of the SD card, and rename it to
boot.dol or boot.elf.

Then, insert the SD card into your Wii, delete the existing
Zelda savefile using the data mangement screen. Switch to
the SD view, locate the right version of the hack for your
region, and copy it over to your Wii. You must have played
Twilight Princess at least once in order for this to work.

If you have the USA version of the game, you must perform
an additional step; please see below. Launch the game.
Select the Twilight Hack savegame, and load it. Once inside
the game, walk backwards. Sit back and enjoy.

Since there are two released versions of Twilight Princess
for the USA region, these users must first check the
version of their game disc. Take your Zelda disc, flip it
over so that the data side is facing you, and look for
a small line of text next to the inner edge of the disc,
between the raised circle of plastic and the data area. If
the text reads "RVL-RZDE-0A-0", you have a v0 game and
you should select the TwilightHack0 savegame. If the text
reads "RVL-RZDE-0A-2", you have a v2 game and you should
select the TwiilghtHack2 savegame. If you do not select
the correct version of the save, the game will freeze and
the hack will not work.
