cant find the link but on here there is a progam that you can run of a memory stick on the psp to identfy the motherboard and all if someone could post it, it will help newbies, this may help newbies to get the info they need with the chart i posted and will slow down repetative can i chip my psp questions, lol like i used to ask hopfully this would be the first fourm they see if they post in the right area. hope im not over stepping the mark. there are people on here way more switched on than me but tech stuff is over whelming to people that dont get non-laymans terms.

download and run that on the slim. it will tell you the infomation you need to know about your motherboard

mine psp is 3004 n it came with version 4.21 n i updated it with 5.0.. just tell me weather it is moddable or not.. and r there ne applications that can be run on dis.. such as vsh menu..n recovery menu etc...???

Possibly - if the psps came with firware lower than 4.01 like 3.95 or below then yes - if higher then probably not. Read the thread for more details.
