andmill are you serious?!?! I can't fathom how you could even say that. I hate the Oakland Gayders, and I hate those stupid retarded Turtles, but I recognize the quality job on those boxes. That Gears box is off the chain.

Well figured i'd buy and mod a rrod 360 for my bro for xmas, but i ended up being too busy and couldn't finish it before xmas. Anyway just finished it today, here's the specs.
Specs:
rrod xclamp replacement with as5
metal mesh behind fans removed
talismoon whisper red fan
5 x 0603 smd red leds for ring of light
2 x 9 3mm red leds on a custom array using sickmods led boards
2 x 3mm red leds for hard drive
4 x 0603 smd red leds for controller

Figure it cost me about $170 for the console and $20 for the fan. The rest of the leds and resistors and wire i had just laying around.

Yeah it controls the inverter for the ccfls, which are ungodly bright even with the tinted plexiglass.

Yeah I tried that. You really need a electronic tweezers. The LEDs are too small to see almost. I didn't have one and failed miserably.

It was my attempt i'm no artist lol but i had a go at doing it myself well its all been re done now i couldnt look at it no more lol i'm introducing led's etc should be good! I can wire the national grid but cant design for poo lol. Then again no need for the smart comment!!! At least i attemtped something.
