When on auto scan, only put your provider in and the box under that should have network, then press the green button on remote, after this you will get to choose an area, you choose legacy channels, and press ok thats it sorted after that
Hi I have the exact same problem as above.... new firware loaded, no channels scanning... only 7/7 TP's. I have just done bove and when I press green button a network scan sreen coes up with " Add TP List " adding new TP, then it does auto search itself and again no channels come in off 7/7 TP's. I am in North Dublin... any ideas please????? My head is fryed now!!!!

No worries. If you're getting it in Maplins. The one I got was a maplin own brand. its's called ' coax Socket to F plug adapter ' be careful there's 2, male and female you need part # QP41U.
When you get connected the Auto scan should work fine.
Oh and you can put away the ladder!

Can you please stop using the quote button, use the reply button as its far to hard to follow everything, and its simpler to replay as everyone will be able to follow the problem.

Nice one E45. Must try to do a guide for Manual scan for the MMDS users. It took me a while to set up mine. It can be tricky, but once you know the freqs its not to bad.

rocky, you need to do the manual scan. Auto will not work on MMDS.You'll have to input the frequencys. all my channels were on 9 different frequencys . you might have 7 channels on one and 15 on another and so on.

Ok I've just coppied these instruction from The first post in this thread:

TO MANUALLY INPUT FREQ FOR MMDS ONLY AS IT DONT SCAN THAT

network >>>> you put your provider in here ie NTL
channel you can start at 1
frequency >>>>>>>> your first number (ie) 362.000
symbol rate >>>>>> if not on 6887 change it to that
modulation >>>>>> 64 QAM it should be on that
channel search type always at >>>>> network

then press the YELLOW BUTTON ONLY

you will need to do this for each freq number you have to get it right

to get the frequencys for your area try this, connect up your NtHell box and go on to a channel and press info.
