no box currently working in the UK, if they do release firmware for the box to work in the UK, it could be a case of flashing your box with this firmware, but at present no firmware for the UK nor boxs working either

Hijust got a sv6 got some channels working but not sports or movies its says not connected on the bottom of the screen also says scrambled any help would be appreciated.i live in Dublin on nthell

did you read back on tis thread? the guys posted some stuff that may help you get it working, I take it you flashed the box before using it?

wont work on MMDS at present, as I said true cable only,
like any provider they can see what they want to see, if Eircom can block the pirate bay at a flick of a switch, then I am sure UPC can do the same with any IP address's,

I'm from Dublin n i hear the starview boxes working again. Is this true? If it is where's the best place i can buy one that isn't a clone.

In a nut shell they can trace to your up and then slow your connection down. Its going through the house of Commons now. Bill of copyright and download. Its for all medias so might be worth a look up.
