Im just curious about people stating they reserved more then 1. Did you do it at the same store? Quote:
District Managers for Gamestop/EB are required to go through the lists in search of duplicate preorders. (They actually compare preorder lists between stores in an entire district for these duplicates)
Suposedly they will go through the list and look for duplicate names, phone #'s and so on and cancel any extra pre-orders. I dont know how true this is. A friend of mine that works at Ebgames told me the same thing.
Dont let the door hit you on the way out, beacause I dont want ass prints on my new door!

generally those who got more than one reservation today, had others with them. yesterday i quoted their (gamestop) policy towards preorders which stated something along the lines of "one per household." so how they enforce or look into this is in their hands as they are totally capable of cancelling any dup orders

Well, my friend pre-ordered one, and I pre-ordered one, then my mom's friend, kinda like my grandma because I never had one pre-ordered one. So they just gonna sell them to me. ;)

i'd to 3 days. long enought to build up early bidders, and when the price is higher at the end the rush will push it up moreso.

list it for $0.01, i think you'll end up paying less to ebay for starting it out low. and i gaurentee you ittl get so high in price.

Yeah, but then I would put a reserve on it. So I figure just do it, because I know this is random, but what if somehow I didn't get what I paid for it and I'd call your mum. So I'll just start it at what I paid for it :)

olny a fool would believe the console would not rise from that level. the last few minutes of the auction are the most intense. i saw a psp around launch going for $100 from 3 days with an hour left. by the time it was over, the price was already up to $245 it was used.

dude reserves are expensive to man like for $600 reserve is like 50 bucks ur better off starting at what u bought it for. But everyone here who has experience knows u will get over what u paid even starting it at .01.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |
