Ok I always new that the ps3 can have seven controllers but what do you mean only 4 can be pluged in? Because anyone can have 20 controllers but only 2 can be pluged in a ps2. Like can you reprase what you wrote please....?

also looking at the picture i don't see anything else that is illuminated, so it could also indicate that controller is powered on as it is wireless.
the controllers are plugged into the ps3 via USB. so you can have up to, but no more than 4 controllers plugged into your ps3 at one time, as there are only 4 USB slots. if you have 7 friends playing a game that supports such a feature, 4 of your friends could have their controllers plugged into the system (recharging while you play) and the other 3 can still play wirelessly, or i'd assume that all 7 of you could play wirelessly....i'll have to doublecheck. got work, hope that makes sense...

well how did u think they were gunna charge?! u still can play wirelessly and u dun have to wry about replacing batteries too often. However, my friend told me that the SIXAXIS drains the battery's life significantly . i was wondering if anyone can confirm that.

It dosent matter if it dose because you can just recharge it while playing.

30 hours thta is good thats more then playing a day straight. Also you could just leave the ps3 on while you rechrge it.

i dont like more than 4 players. i think the other slots are just reserved for other things like headsets annd mice and all that jazz.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Rumor: EB/Gamestop workers fired if PS3/Wii listed on eBay
One of our moles reports that EB/Gamestop corporate overlords are tracking eBay PS3 and Wii sales, with the promise of termination if an employee-bought system is listed. Our own digging corroborated the story, but we think this plan is a threat at best.
Retailers scan game hardware serial numbers into their databases when making a sale; the receipt may even list the ever-so-unique number. But you shouldn't need to list the serial number on eBay to make a sale, so why do it? The EB/Gamestop bosses could buy specific listings and hope to catch employees, but that seems like a lot of costly work. Even then, the odds will be in favor of the EB/Gamestop worker-turned-profiteer.
People will make money reselling scarce launch hardware; that's a fact of gaming. We like the idea of EB/Gamestop trying to get consoles into the hands of gamers, but this plan may have little impact

its probably like dev kit console or something then. theres noooo chance in hell sony would allow consumers to buy a console that can play copied games with absolutely no modifications. notice that its also in a brown box, not the one pictured at the start of the thread.
