I doubt that they could find every person who works at ebay that sells ps3 on ebay. Like it would be kind of hard because a ton of ps3's will be on ebay...

yeah thats tru and really they aint gone care about losing a 7 dollar an hour job over making lmfao 2,000 to 5,000 dollars hmmm I quit !. I think the only people that will be hurt is the managers or people that work there who are making a nice chunk of change

I think a lot of people who are counting on making tons of money on Ps3's on ebay will be dissapointed.
1. The market will be flooded with ps3's on ebay.
2. Alot of people this time around purchased ps3's just so they could list them on ebay unlike the xbox 360.
3. You have to pay ebay listing fees, seller fees, paypal fees that add up and take quite a bit of the profit away. You have to pay almost like $150-$200 just to cover all the fees. So the playstation 3 that you purchased for $650 after tax now has to be sold at least $850 to break even.
4. The headache of shipping around christmas time.
I hope I'm wrong but I don't see people making a killing like they did with the 360's.

yeah you might be right Sam there are too many people sellin them which could be bad if Sony's Ps3's are puttin more on the store shelves than we think after launch

Yeah I played the first two def jams )the "def jam fight for new york" being my favourite)and they were awesome. I also just recently saw the news on it, it seems they are making one for psp too.

October 26, 2006 - Sony is clearly intent on making the PS3 the all-in-one hub for your home entertainment. A new list of media formats supported by the system right out of the box includes a variety of hard and digital formats, and should satisfy the needs of just about everyone.
The hard media has been known for some time, but here's the full list.

this is what Psm3 said about the Ps3
We unpacked it, boshed it on and haven't stopped playing yet. Lots more tomorrow, but here's our findings so far:
1) It's SUPERQUIET. Yes, we've said it before but we're still surprised. It makes less noise than a PS2 - just a thin, quiet whirr of a fan.
2) It gets warm - but not hot. The fan blows air out of the back and out of the top of the machine (when it's in its upright position). It's a bit weird. You certainly couldn't 'fry an egg' on the top of the machine while it's stood on end, but you could 'thaw a bagel'.
3) Loading discs is a quick, no fuss operation.
4) Screen modes up to 1080p are available - but the games we currently have don't offer 1080 modes.
5) It's see through. You can see all the innards through the smoked black plastic exterior
6) It creaks when you pick it up. The panels groan slightly with the weight of the innards
7) The power supply is built it - which accounts for what heat there is and makes it a single self contained unit (as opposed to 360's game of two halves).
8) The menus are very easy to understand. It's literally just like a PSP.
9) Games seem to leave a data folder behind on the HD disc (some kind of swap file?) We played Resistance, stopped, looked at the disc from the PS3 menu and found a 33Mb file on there (not in the save game directory). We played MotorStorm, looked again, and it had gone.
10) The pad isn't quite as classy as you think it will be. The console looks very special. The pad is a bit, well, ordinary. Dull plastic, and, because it's so light, it feels a bit unsubsantial. The new triggers are a bit rubbery too (though do have an 'L4' 'R4' 'click' at the end which we haven't noticed before.
11) We've got code for MotorStorm, Resistance and Genji so far. With more to follow.

Awesome i plan on buying a few on launch day, my bro is giving me money and i'm camping out at Best Buy. Hopefully i can buy a Wii with the money we make :D Why did they have to put the Blu-ray logo on the front of the box? Kind of makes it seem like PS3 is just a catalyst for Blu-ray.

i might go for it. when is it? ill still camp, but then i'll pay for another system for ebay. if best buy for some reason fails ill have the preorder. simple as that.

Yeah the differences with the boxes is that one syas 60gb and the other says 20gb. Also one of the ps3 is silver but the other one is plain black...
Also toys R us are taking pre-orders this sunday.

I would do it like this . go to toysrus try to be with in the first five for the pre-order . then when Nov17 comes have some1 else go see if you have it like a brother or cousin while you go camp best buy ,that way you a have a sure change to get one . if you camp out and cant get it they your back up plan might fall through . I would just have a cell phone to keep in touch and see if they got it from Toysrus, if they did then lol you can go home and go to sleep or if you get it from best buy just cancel the pre-order from toysrus and get your money back its only 50 bucks
