I'm going through the same process with the Kryptview and mmds in Galway. I had the Starview working previously and wrote down the following frequencies:
250
266
282
298
314
330
346
362
378
378250
How do you enter these manually?
I went to user preferences and then SAT/TP Edit.
Then selected Chorus and entered the frequencies on the right with an SR of 6.890 and QAM of 64.
When I exit I get thrown back to the Easy Installation screen. I can't seem to get beyond this.
I also tried to go through the installation submenu and then to manual search.
Can someone point me in the right direction.

I'm going to answer my own question as I got it to work in Galway.
Frequencies are as I posted previously.
Entered frequencies in the user preferences.
Did manual scan immediately afterwards and it picked up all the channels.

from reading through the threads is it true that the other boxes can be updated like the kryptview. If so do you think someone will come up with a new update before the end of the season.
Thanks in advance

This one would be nice but ill settle for next season.i read on the thread that kryptview is working because it is better supported.is it a case that the other boxes are not bothering to update because the update will be whiped out again very soon.

Hi Ferg,
You seem to be the top guy with the knowledge on these Kryptviews. Im currently using a EVox MaxV and have lost premium channels such as s*y sports/movies/setan*a etc due to the migration to Nag3.
Are these boxes still fully operational, ie are they capable of working with nagra 3, or is some "full" migration or big switch still possible which could render them an expensive paperweight such as the EV now?
Also, if you could email me the Dub based supplier id be very grateful.
thanks guys

we all take a chance you could get 1 day a week a month a year nobody knows but if you get 2 months out of it your box has been paid for and anything after that is a bonus
i have sent you the address now

I got a null modem cable and a usb adaptor to connect it to the lap top, my computer won't down load the software for the usb connection, maybe because it's only a cheap 1 I got of e bay, just wondering is it necessary to have to down load the software for the connection or is there another way around it, may be the disc I got with the adaptor is faulty I,m not sure.
