dunm question alright, every noobs ask them, dont worry
To burn any cd or dvd you need a dvd burner installed on your computer, internal or external.
Patching means to modify something , in this case we are modifing PAL games to NTSC so it could be playable on the american ps2 and tv's

BERORE NAYBODY GOES OFF TOPIC< CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS
i patched brothers in arm w/ PAL TO NTTSC PATCHER AS opposed to the ADR PATCHER, even though that is what is suggested, but wat it point. the ADR PATCHER has no y-axis positioning. SO should i just use ADR patcher as c the results or is it still going to be the same.
AFter i patched w/ PAL to NTSC PAtcher i can play single player with no problem expect te y axis position. But when i try to go online i get black and white w/ jitter screen, even after i get online. WATS UP
ANY EXPERTS I'M RUNNING OUT OF DISCS

nrk4594,
First like to thanks for the information about the PS2 PAL to NTSC.
I was able to patch "star wars 3 PAL" and played it on my PS2 (NTSC)
But I tried to patch the "RATCHET AND CLANK 3" but the problem is the same before I patched it. TV screen rolled.
///edit
I saw your list on the first post. So I am going to download NTSC version instead.

As in the first post.
Star Wars: Battlefront - Use PAL TO NTSC PATCHER WITH Y-FIX V1.06 BETA with Y-fix offset of 48.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Also use the magiciso to open the iso or bin/cue file.
See one of the following file existing
SLES_###.## - PAL
SCES_###.## - PAL
Then apply patch and burn the iso.
Also make sure you got modchip in your ps2.

Used Y-fix v1.06 to patch Ford Mustang racing. After the patching was done, a box popped up stating "the size of the elf file was changed! If you are building a new Ps2 cd/dvd image you must update the ".iml, *.ims files to reflect the new elf size. If the patched elf is to be inserted into an already built *.bin ps2 image plase do not forget to regenerate the corrupted sectors after inserting eh elf." Any suggestions?

I live in Japan and have a Japanese slimline PS2,I bought Swap Magic v3.6 recently and have a PAL copy of World Rally Championship 4 which I understand from previous posts, cant be patched with either ADR or the Ps2 PAL to NTSC patcher so....is it possible to use a PAL to NTSC video converter as advertised in a post, to play a PAL copy on a NTSC system through a NTSC TV in colour and of course without the rolls??
Hope this is not too confusing.
Cheers

pretty sure its not really worth it to patch PAL games to NTSC cause you will always be missing part of the screen because the tv's have different resolution or whatever
