Im from New Zealand but live in Japan.I downloaded some games in PAL format and need to play them on a NTSC tv hence the need to reformat them...Cheers

gotcha i just think your better off only getting NTSC games unless you plan on buying that pal/ntsc converter chord

Great post. I tried the PAL to NTSC patcher to patch fifa 2006,(i rebuild the game). load the game by cogswap and it looked like it was going to load but the black screen just hanged! ive burned the PAL iso, and the game works but its B&W, with the screen a little off center.
ima try the other patcher, keep you guys posted.

ALRIGHT, i found wpalntsc, and downloaded disc juggler.. loaded up the image to wpalntsc, selected PAL-NTSC..than i clicked on convert.. after that i got a DOs PRompt type of window saying this:
C:/Windows/system32/cmd.exe
it saids "Now path Start PAL -> Ntsc" AND A BLINKING CURSOR doesnt let me type anything.
Has Anyone converted FIFA 2006 PAL to NTSC ?? if so how you did it, im kinda stuck and need some help.

Hey Jdilla,what version do you have of the PAL 2 NTSC patcher?
I have had a look at the readme in my one and it says the version is 1.06.I could send it to you if you want..

you guys know the screen will NEVER be full it will always be missing a part of the screen and you still wann go through the trouble of converting it. unless you get the converter for your tv

Watkins,I put off getting the tv converter as the company I got in touch with in Hong Kong is out of stock,as a result ,I ended up patching Gran Turismo 4 PAL 2 NTSC and of course the screen is not in full glory, so it was a case of using what I had,its not too bad,just cant see what gear youre in..lol

well ya thats ok for you cookieboy because your gonna get one of those converters but whoever does'nt plan on getting one i jus thinks it so pointless missin the bottom of the screen because in most games you have to see that part of screen take golfing games for example what club your using and the power meter

Another point...why are most of the downloads available on Edonkey in PAL? I have tried downloading NTSC games but they are few and far between.I would have thought that most of the seeding would be done in Nth America...

Try to get an account on a private Bittorrent Tracker such as www.torrentbytes.net - www.filelist.org - www.torrentleech.org
There you will find tons of NTSC Games or.. USA games that is the same

Good news, i snatched adr patcher and converted fifa 2006 from PAL to NTSC.. but as you guys may know, adr patcher doesnt center the image.. but its not such a big deal with this soccer game.. just aslong as my eyes are seeing in color im Happy! 4 Coasters on this Game!!! : (
its all worth it doe, cuz its a great game. soon i should get my hands on Pro Evolution soccer 5 (Jap)

I just discovered from a post that with Swap Magic 3.6, you can do a special boot with PAL discs,I reburned Prince of Persia WW without patching it and loaded it up and whaddya know,its all good and in full screen mode.Man am I a dickhead.Luckily I only burned one game,GT4.Now the question is...how can I patch that back to PAL??

really full screen thats strange swap magic just plays PAL games regular does'nt change it to ntsc
