20 gig version should be fine if you dont have a router or have cable in the same room as the PS3. If not then u better get the 60gig cuz it has wifi...thats what i want i dont really care about the HDD size really.
i still dont quite believe that some bestbuy will carry 100 PS3. But if that is the case then it should be a relief for some ppl cuz i seriuosly thought that there will be no more than 20 or so.
I gave up on the idea of camping but if there really is gonna be about 100 PS3 at bestbuy then im up for it agian.

i know 100 at circuit city (link on last page) but best buy i presume should be the same. why wouldnt it? there arnt many midnight launches anyways.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

i know so many places to hit up if lines form to large. i wouldnt see why in my area that there would be too many really early liner-uppers since there issnt a midnight launch.

I'm pretty much banking on getting a PS3 at midnight from Best Buy. I really do hope they get 100 or so PS3's, hopefully the majority being 60 GB. If I don't manage to get one, I have a friend who works right next to a Gamestop and he could tel them to hold me one. Hopefully Best Buy will be able to release how many consoles they are expecting to recieve some time late next week. This doens't give alot of people time. Ohh well, I got to get ready for school, peace.

be warned, midnight best buys have had people lining up for a few days. not many, but they are there and it bets more and more every day.

Yeah I would say midnight would be good but like people are planning to sleep there so they would go there early then just sleep until the time comes. Maybe by the time you come everyone would be handed a ticket and the people withut one would of went home already....
Also what if you went super early got a ticket went home came back before they open and got a ps3! wonder what would happen.
@AFreak Yeha that was me who said that... Anyways I still think a 300 gb version is out of the question like sure 1-2 second load times are nice but the ps3 I dont think is going to take that long to load in the first place. Also 300gb hd cost a fair amount of money... But do what you want if you got a lot of money then I guess it would be cool having a pimped out ps3....

man I remeber when I bought my Ps2 lol I didnt even give a damn about games I was so amazed lookin at the splash screen and that screen were you make that display spin around , they should have kept that it was cool and made it a background for music . I think the screen that pops on when you turn on your Ps2 is the best in console history (with all those blocks) lol and the noise it makes

I got my PS2 a year after it came out also... I think I was 9 years old andwasn't into gameing that much yet. My PS2 broke a year ago so I went out and bought one of the slim PS2s' from Best Buy when they were $200 I also bought a 3 year extended warrenty for it for and additonal $50; the guy at BestBuy told me with that warrenty when the PS3 comes out and can bring in my Slim PS2 along with that warrenty and they will give me $250 store credit towards the playstation 3. I went into bestbuy to comfirum if that was still true and the lady at customer sevice said yes... she said if I was going to camp to bring in my ps2 the day befor and they would give a me a gift card for $250 bucks on the spot.

My friend works at Target and says that they have 17 PS3's at launch. And remember guys, 90% of all PS3 consoles are the 60GB version.

I only have 2 tries at this. I have a busy schedule so im gonna be kinda late for camping.
Since i get off work at 5 PM on the 16th I will go to walmart right after to check out the lines. I still dont know how it will work tho since its 24/7 walmart and i heard they might give out tickets for the PS3 at 10pm.
Plan B is to go and camp at Fred meyers right after i check Walmart since they wont open till 10am the next day.
Its probably impossible to do this in a major city but i live in the boonies and hopefully not alot of ppl are hardcore gamers or else im screwd till march.
