As Karl mentioned , The System Information is correct API ver 4.00eE 7th June 2007 because it is that version which has been modded to auto-roll the key's (Crypstar - V1.4 genuine only)
Try a factory setting
Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete
Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on
English > Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit
Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON
Exit , exit , exit
Make sure your incoming cable is in the "Cable Input" socket at the back of the Starvi*w

Hi i'm on N*L dublin and ive just noticed i have none of the channels below, these channels are all of the same frequencie which is 378.250, I also noticed while checking my channels a load of the other channels came up with the message channel moved please wait for saving, now i got these channels back but they had moved to other frequencies. Anyone else notice this and anyone got any ideas to get back channels below. thanks.
more4+1, sci-fi,uktv drama,bloomberg,national geographic wild,setanta sports 2, QVC, bubble hits, dctv pilot, all the euronews channels,

some of the channels have moved to 418.250 so manually add that and you should find them

try a scan on 418.250 antoinette i was only loooking for lfc not to sure about the rest.

no did,nt come back just scanned back in on frequencie 378.250. I suppose will just have to wait to see if someone finds the new frequencie for these channels. Cybor are you on N*L dublin and if so can you check to see if you have these channels and what there frequencies are.

karl when i rescanned on 371 on my sv1 i found the channels on the end of channel list, i also done this on my sv3 it found the channels but when i went to end of list there not there and i can,t find them any were. any ideas? i was going to try delete them from original place and then scan them back in do you think this would work.

factory reset and autoscan ur provider and also when scanning no exts or splitters allowed and make sure u scan from strongest feed to receive maximum chs,and umu on.

karl and cactikid found them went through my all channel list and found them doubled there on the old frequency and on their new one thanks for all your help.

hey guys i flashed chris image to my box and worked a treat.
just wondering does it affect your box if you keep flashing images to the box, i just wanted to try a few other images to see what they had to offer but didnt want to risk screwing up my box.
anyone have any advice on this?
also any other good images out there that people are using?

you do not flash images to starviews you do to dbox and dream itgate you put bin files on starview and no it does not matter as one will overwrite the other as long as it is for the box if not you could either damage it or kill it

hi gang having major problems with my dreambox 500c. seems to have just died, nothing i can do. remote wont work (green light not flashing) cant even get an image on the screen and i need to find my dreamboxes ip.
totally screwed i think, anyone with any ideas?
i was in the middle of flashing the gemini image when it just stopped so turned off the box and has been frozen ever since. ha knew i shouldnt have touched it.

Use IFA and reflash a new image BTW you have multiposted and this is not a Dreambox thread.

4.54 would be the best bet as 4.50 has a faulty epg that makes it freeze and reboot.
but otherwise use 4.50 if this doesn't bother you.
