2.50 for diesel in az. It's starting to cost more per month for fuel than the truck payment.

price of oil only went up because of the impending & actual invasion of iraq. no invasion & the oil would be cheaper than now. in ontario, canada, the price of gas is about 90cents/litre or $4.05Can/imperial gallon which is a third more than the phoney american gallon

Food for thought. Here in the states their telling us that there is a shortage of fuel, because we have not built any refineries in the last 20 years. Their raising the price, because the demand is causing a shortage. Hmmmmmmm-anybody seen any stations closed because of no fuel???

$2.39 for 89 octane in Palm Beach area.
And I am going to take Jim Dandy's advice and not mention the following:
Democrat, Republican, or how about both parties just being puppet's to another country pulling the strings? We all need to wake up...there is more to what is happening that one can imagine or wants to imagine. Do some research on PNAC and look to the game plan of the extreme right wing way before 9/11...just like a story book that came to fruition. OK, just my two cents. <g>
Oh and yea?from a Republican?F*ck Bush!!!! Or should I say the real power behind the scenes?Rowe, Wolfowitz, etc.

not just that, but now I see more and more Hummers and bigass SUVs that are probably getting 8 miles to the gallon than I saw 5 years ago.

Hi friends... It's about $2.40 a gallon here in central Massachusetts; just went up dramatically again yesterday.
Does anyone remember the early 1970's? My very first car was a '64 Chevy Impala that I bought in 1970. Back in 1970, gas was .28 cents a gallon.... not a typo neither... .28 cents a gallon. I'd fill up the tank with a 5.00 dollar bill.
I think Van Halen said it well in their song... "Where have all the good times gone?"
Take care friends; enjoy your weekend.

$2.22 here, in northern Minnesota. And, what the hell? My liberal friends said that we invaded Iraq to get their oil. Why the hell is the price so high, then? :) Could they be wrong, again?
O.K., so I do get troll tendencies once in awhile. :):):)

don't buy gas from Exxon/Mobil. I just read an article in Time magazine that said that while everyone else (except Bush) is trying to reduce pollution, and Exxon is accused of being the #1 climate criminal responsible for the Bush Administration's refusal to sign on to the Kyoto Protocol. They don't agree with mandatory caps on greenhouse emissions.

I'll never buy Exxon Mobile ... I'm originally from Alaska and they did soooo much damage up there.
They say they cleaned it all up, but you can still turn over rocks and see oil.

# The United States imports 58% of the total gross oil we use. Not ideal, but not bad when you consider we're not allowed to drill in many of the most lucrative U.S. sites (thanks to Clinton).
# Only 20% of our total imports come from the Persian Gulf.
# The country we import the largest quantity from is....Canada! Yes, Canada!
# The other three countries in the top four are Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Venezuela. So, of the four countries from which we import the most oil, two are in North America and one is in South America.

You guys are IDIOTS blaming Bush for the high price of fuel. its a bigger problem than the president . demand, opec, the world market China buying more now .
you guys that dont like Bush still wouldn't like him even if fuel was less expensive ,period
i say if all you liberals dont like Bush move . i think his trying to make good changes as in SS. and many other things. and i was proud to vote for him.
iam sure if Hillary Cliton gets in the white house everything will be fixed huh ( yeah right)
We have to come up with alt. fuel sources so we dont have to depend on forgien oil is the bottom line its all about GREED GREED GREED that drives everything and it has over ran our country

greed has overcome the world, not just the US. Although, the US is probably one of the worst countries with greed. And you're right about me not liking Bush whether or not fuel prices were cheaper. There's plenty of other reasons not to like him.
Big changes take time, it's not an overnight thing and probably will take longer than 4 years or 8 years. It's a balance no matter how you look at it. Good things do come from bad things sometimes, and vice versa.
