Gas is 2.52 here in southern florida. Went up .15-.20 from yesterday, and from what my lady tells me should go up even more by next week. She's a manager at a gas station. Makes me almost regret putting that new small block in my chevelle. Almost....

Yeah from what I hear. I guess the delivery routes conflict with the postition of the storm, and deliveries have been suspended until it hits. They say it's to discourage over-buying, I think it's price gouging. This one looks like it's gonna miss us, thank goodness. We almost took a direct hit last year with charlie, the eye came 5-10 miles from our coast and went north to Port Charlotte. It literally cut the island I go fishing at in half.

It is all about inflation, prices are bound to go up no matter what though. To blame the president isn't actually right minded to be honest.I'm not taking anybodies side on politics nor do I like politics to begin with, but for real lay off the president because it doesn't really have anything to do with the president. They say he runs the country, but that isn't actually true. The president doesn't make all the decisions for America, and there is no possible way for him to do it anyways. If anyone should be blamed it should be the oil companies,as there is higher demand for it.I don't really think there are any shortages as this seems to be the case,it is all about money and greed no doubt. Why don't we have cars that run off of water instead of fuel, because the oil companies bought the permits to make water powered cars which could have solved the issues with oil.It is actually the oil companies fault as I mentioned, because if water powered cars where released there would be no need for fuel powered cars.

alot of it is supply and demand. China is having a huge impact on gas prices. Alot of oil is going to China.

HEY! you political arguing senior members, stop it! that right there is the main reason i stay the hell out of politics all together, and i have never voted or even registered to vote! Think about this, we live in a country cool enough to allow it's people to at least vote on who they want in office. So the majority of the people say they want this guy and he wins, well thats all cool but things are messed up in a few years and everyone is crying about "oh how the president did this, or did that". but hey, WE the people put him there!! and he came from our society as he grew up so WE the people essentially created and trained this man, whom we as a majority eventually elected president. So as far as i'm concerned people arguing over political views is retarded. There's no way in hell you're going to make all of the people happy all of the time.
and i'm sure someone will mention this so i'll cover it now, before you call me a free liberal hippie or something like that i'll tell you why i dont vote and "do my part". i bust my ass every day at work and take care of my land and family. I do not break our laws (at least not the serious ones) and i generally get along fine with everyone so i blend right in well to this "we the people" thing. When the country is all screwed up, as it usually is, I feel a little better knowing i'm not one of the people that put the guy in charge in the first place.
now ok dammit, back to fossil fuels!!
