Well, right now gas is about $2.00 (cheapest stuff) to $2.30 (Premium Chevron) from what I can tell around my area. I fill up my truck ('03 Tundra, 3 inch lift, 17 inch BFGoodrich All Terrian KO tires, K&N air intake) from empty for about $62 USD, that is with the Premium Chevron. I typically spent $30/month on gas right now. Hope things will stay that way (or prices go down!!). I will post my Tundra in my sig when I get the chance to upload his picture.

Peace,

Pop Smith

EDIT: @ Squizzle, it depends Salt or Fresh water?

Salt, about 40ish years (depends on milage)
Fresh, about 40ish days :P

I live in the panhandle (Santa Rosa)area of Florida and right now it is $2.13 for 87 octane, $2.23 for 89 octane, and $2.33 for the super. With this hurricane Dennis coming our way everyone here has gone insane rushing to get gas and then the pumps are running out of gas. We have to wait 2 to 3 days before we get more gas at the pump. This state is really starting to suck bad. About the Funk You Bush saying makes me die laughing. lmao about cars driving on water too. lmfaooooooo

if cars ran on water, how long do you think before the world dried up?
It wouldn't as water runs a cycle and keeps producing itself over and over again. It is called rain, water never actually dries up it is precepitation and goes into the atmosphere(sure it can dry up in some spots, but that doesn't mean it is gone).Once enough precepitation reaches the atmosphere it drops down to the earth. Not to mention, water is going to last longer than any source that we use for cars such as oil.Think about this alright, the world is 75 percent water and the rest is land.I don't think the world would dry up very fast like you think if we used water instead of oil.Another thing is the exhausts on cars, once oil is used up it pollutes the atmosphere as water on the other hand will rise to the atmosphere and produce itself again. It creates a cleaner environment for the atmosphere and it is also easier to get since the world is 75 percent water. How long do you think oil will last,it can't outlast water.

You can laugh at the idea of water power cars, but to be honest. It is actually better, and it is true about the oil companies buying the permits to make water power cars.Read up on it,if oil companies allowed water powered cars there would be no need for oil companies. So the oil companies bought the permits to protect there investments, not sure how to explain it any better but check the facts before saying it is non sense.

Ahhh...but it is true a car can run with just water. If you search for it you can find it probably, the plans and everything to make it happen are not possible though as the oil companies stopped the permits by buying them from making the idea happen. We have hybrid cars that run with gas and electric, but with water it is alot different. The engine and everything inside the car was built to adapt to water.

Oh you guys quit it, gas ain't bad just think of all the other stuff that just costs to much money like bottle water come on that's almost three dollars or how about smokes almost four dollars a pack or this one gets me I went to arco and got those small pack of gum that used to be 25 cent now there 35 cent wow inflation is huge and its only going up not much we can do. Gee It costs almost 5 bucks for a little piece of cheese last time I went shopping hold on people I don't see the price of things going down any....
Oh I almost forgot I just bought a VW Jetta Diesel wow what a nice car hahh 50 plus miles to the gallon what !! that's a nice number and has a turbo too cant beat that, makes a cool noise when it releases pressure the only thing is oil its 7 or 8 dollars a quart but its good stuff and I only have to change it ohhh every 10,000 miles probably let it go to 11,500 but who cares right the oil industry likes our money...
I dive up to 90 miles a day to San Francisco for work sometimes not all the time but I only have to fill up oh about once a week hehe I think it was 2.67 I think for diesel might be wrong on that but not by much ha to bad the oil industry pays me almost 33 dollars an hour for my time in there hell hole.. Just spent a half a year building Conaco Phillips super Diesel line made diesel lower in sulfur better for the world right cant say Ill ever get that time back. life is to short spend your time wisely right or is work , work , work hey where is all my money going alright I got to go this is getting to long see ya..

It is called the hydrogen fuel cell, but it is H2O none the less.Sure gas is alright for right now,but it will run out eventually this I am sure of.Why not advance,we should advance to make our economy better I think.Gas isn't helping us one bit,and anyone I think can see this.Hahaha lol Milk on the other hand, that would be wild.

I totally see what you're saying about water being used as fuel, but I'm guessing it would take a bit more water than gas to give your car enough power to go 60mph or so. Also someone told me about a guy who actually invented a hydro-car, they said he disappeared off the face of the earth and all his plans went with him. Weird......

Oh, and speaking of other products being more expensive than gas, what's Evian spelled backwards?

Hahaha lol yeah, but dairy products are getting pretty steap now a days also.Good point on the guy that invented the hydro-car,it is true it doesn't run as quick as gas powered cars.It is a good source to use though as it keeps producing itself.Gas is a pretty big issue though to overlook.

The University of AZ has a successful hydrogen fuel cell program ongoing at this time. Several auto makers, are also working on this. Last fall, Dennis Weaver, co-sponsered, [I can't recall with whome], a race from CA to NY using alternative fuel cars & trucks. 90% were hydrogen fuel hybreds. The byproduct of hydrogen combustion is pure oxygen, not water. The beauty of this, is that the process removes polutents from the air, and spit out oxygen. The major problem with making hydrogen fuel is that it uses more energy to make than it produces.

Lots of politics here! Sounds like my grandfather came back to life and was runnin'around telling people "love or leave it!" I'm with you Jim Dandy, Bush is an idiot, but merely a puppet idiot as he isn't the one running things anyway. The greed and corruption goes much deeper and more widespread than the entire government itself. Our congress is looking at changing the meager amount of SS the the retiree's get, yet they each recieve $15,000 per month.... for life! The greed is just as rampant in Lily or dow or phiser look at how a regulatory employee for the FDA can quit and go right to work for any of the various drug companies for 7 figure salaries. Go figure.. yet, it's my country too! I can't ride a bike the 50 miles to work, one-way, I was transferred too. Here in Massena, New York 5 miles from Ontario, Canada, gas is $2.44 this morning. A rise of 15 cents in the past week.

Dude, anytime hydrogen and oxygen are mixed it produces water.I am sure water is made from somewhere in the cars, not alot but enough to tell that it produces water.Yeah the problem with it to be honest is making a strong power source, that I agree with you.

Look check this site out http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry?id=8477 it tells you the elements of it,and what it produces how it differs. It uses Carbon and Oxygen CO2,not really bad but still sounds hard to deal with also.
