They have a 24 hour waiting period for new member posting rights. But I wouldn't be surprised if you end up banned before that, and they try to extort money from you to unban the account. They're a bunch of thieves!
Besides, what's ps2nfo got to do with AfterDawn?
I've burnt 2 copies of this game on RITEK G05 8x DVD-R; one for me, one for a friend, both work perfectly with SM2.0 & SM3.6
Maxell media is crap, and I personally don't rate TY discs. You can see through them for goodness sake! You can't see through a RITEK, cos its excellent quality.
RITEK G05 all the way.
Oh, and you can't rebuild Bully, as it uses various LBA checks.

Just because i also wanted to ask about bully there.
But i finally got it working in black and white. You have to be lucky, sometimes sm boots it and sometimes not.
I'll just wait for the european release

You cant rebuild bully?? not even with gnies expert tool?
I burnt it normally but it froze while playing, just a bad disk perhaps? using Ritek G05

If your using swap magic just dont rebuild it i rebuilt it and it didnt work but i burned the origional and it worked fine.

burned bully onto 16x Verb DVD+R, no rebuilding, worked straight away, runs smoothly and no need 4 zoneloader

Zapp, buy a fully wired RGB scart lead for PS2 & all NTSC games will play in colour. The picture quality will also be enhanced on all your games as well.

For me it always worked great.. I have a PS2 with Matrix Infinity and works great.
question: Intenso DVD-R is good?

Hey EzyDuzIt, I use 16X Verbatims too but it s-s-s-studders A LOT.
What settings do you use and which program do you use to burn? More info is needed :D.

You said that Maxell is Crap, I have a Maxell DVD-R here, I tested on Nero CD-DVD Speed, and take a look:
The DVD is Maxell but in the ID it says "RITEKG05"
so...the DVD-R i'm using is great??

Ok now i tried twice
1)Burnt on TYG02 at 4x, works fine using SM 3.6, lasers is stressing a bit though, guessing cause the the game is so damn big.
2)Tried to cut some weight off....got it to like 3.44 gigs, but like ace1uk said, there are lba checks, and wouldnt even boot.
Dont get what the prob is peeps, using decent media, updated firmware, and burned at a modest speed, there should be 0 problems with the game.

well i eventualy got it working by trying to burn it on another burner, couldnt get any to work on my pc's internal philps but it worked by useing my external nec. dont think media has anything to do with this, i dont put much thought into all this'you have to have verbatim' or one of the other bloody expensive discs that only a few can afford, ive used cheap discs like datawrite and tuff discs all the way and its rarley i get any trouble.

LMAO your joking! You can get top of the line Taiyo Yuden's for 24 cents a piece at supermediastore.com......yes 200 top quality DVD-R for 55 bucks is just braking the bank :/

Ndarkness i burned bully using DVD Decrypter at 2.4x speed with Verbs 16x. My ps2 is an old skool v5 or v6 and i use swap magic 3.6

actually that isnt that bad, thought they was alot more expensive than that. think i pay 12 quid for 100 of some guy on the market, like i say there not great makes but i dont have much problem at the moment but i suppose they can mess up in the long term. thanks for that will try them out.

I am having no luck with this game. I'm using my wonderful taiyo yudens and everything. Buring at 1x and everything else checks out. An always glitchy. Could it be my disks That would be a first but still.

Just burned the game using DVD Decrypter at 2.4x. I use TY media and SM 3.6, and the game seems to be working fine.

When I burned the game at a speed lower than 4x the game wouldn't boot up at all :S.
Still not any solutions out there?

I dont think there any solutions...its a straight burn. Cant shrink the iso....burn on good media and there shouldnt be a problem.

So weird I use DVD Decrypter with TY media and burn at the lowest speed possible and I have three coasters. I've pretty much givin up. The only thing I can think of is perhaps DVD+ vs DVD-. Anyone who got it to work with TY which are you using?

Hello All:
Im still in the process of trying to get a workin copy of this game. Im using philips DVD+R and swap magic 3.6 disks
I have:
DVD Zone Loader
Cogswap
DVDloader
Burned 3 disks
the 1st 4x dvddecrypter= boot up with swap magic freezes when second baseball is thrown at the rockstar logo (For those who have booted the game youll know) booted with DVDZL booted and froze during opening movie, played very sketchy
The 2nd Burn 2.4x with Nero= No boot just black/ then booted and froze right away/ just black with DVDZL/ Boots to black with Cogswap. Cant figure out how to use dvd loader v1.0 (Never had to) the disl just keep spinning (cant use flip top) and when i hit the eject button and put in a new disk the press X option goes away and it no lonher responds
Now Im on my third burn back to DVDecrypt 4x and its working perfect with DVDZL im not sure what happened but it couldve been that i was running other programs during the first 2 burns and for the third i wasnt running anything My ps2 is old i bouught it in 2001 unsure what version but I think it's V5
Burned at 4x dvddecypter philips media without rebuilding and it boots with dvdzl
