Here is what ou dont realize, half of people who post have trouble remembering there name if it wasnt on there underwear......with that said, my iso is 4.31 gigs, and i use top of the lin Taiyo Yuden's.
Interesting your iso is 4.6 gigs.....anything over 4.35 gigs needs a TOC refresh...meaning zoneloader is necessary.
No problems with the game, but like Hursty said, but it sounds like the laser is on speed! Prolly cause the game is to the edges of the disk, but since there are LBA checks there is no way around this.

Same problem here, burned using Alcohol 120% at 2.4 speed on Sony disk, plays fine until the start of the game and then asks for the disk. got one dvd left so its either a re-burn or burn something else off!!

i did a burn of the game (no rebuild) and used cogswap to load it and had long load times with some audio troubles, then once get to principles office no audio(i think) and then just goes into loading screen and never comes out.

using swap magic 3.6 and TY disc burned at 4x with imgburn... and works with no problem... the games sucks so i turned it off after about an hour of game play...

Ok, my findings. Please bear in mind my Bully image is 4.528 gig which is wierd as others have said there's are smaller than 4.35 gig.
Burned x4 using ImgBurn - long loading times, stuttering sound, unplayable really
Loaded same disk again using Zoneloader - load times were a little quicker (still slow though), but still stuttering sound etc.
Might see about getting the smaller image, and trying that.

Mines was 4.31 gb. I burned it at 4x on a Maxell DVD+R and it plays good. Sometimes the audio might stop for a second and one time it said insert disc but it went away in a few secs but the game is still playable.

I tried with my Taiyo Yuden, and it burned fine, but it would freeze on the first loading screen when the ball hits the snake. I'm going to reboot and reburn. I burned at 1x

Didnt you read earlier posts? NEVER burn at 1X!!! That can cause just as many problems as burining to fast!

Wow, I never knew that burning my backups at 1x would cause problems. I mean, I have burned around 20 backups with genuine Verbatim 16x DVD-R media at 1x and they all work flawlessly. I thought that burning at 1x was the best option because you risk the less chances of errors during the burning process?
Anyway, I just want to let all of you know that I tried burning the game (Bully) with a Maxell DVD+R media like somebody did, at 2.4x and it didn't worked. So for my last try, I tried with a Verbatim 16x DVD-R media at 2x burning speed. Let me tell you that I've been playing the whole afternoon without any problems. Now I am about to do the cool Halloween mission and the game has been running flawlessly.

People listen to stang he knows what is up,i have swap magic coder and i have had no problems ever unless the game is over 4.7g, i ALWAYS burn my games with dvddecrypter at 4x. i have never had a coaster, and i always use verbatim -R
so the moral of the story is use
4x burn speed
and -R only discs
if you cannot burn a -R disc then stop triing and go buy a -R drive $100 on average

Burning at 1X doesnt gurantee problems, just opens the door for problems. You seem to know how to properly make backups, so if in the rare case the game didnt work and you burned it at 1X, there is a good likelyhood that was causing a problem. i used to use TYG03's (16x DVD-R) and never have had a coaster either, all burned at 4X. Anyway, glad you got it working:)

Thanks man, im used to seeing people post "Fack you stang etc etc", so its nice to see that once in a while :) Your post nails the ps2 backup process to a T, if that doesnt work then a rebuild is necessary, followed by the same steps you posted :D

just finished burnin this, i used DVD Decrypter at 4x and btw media quality is not important i'm using Tesco Value DVD-R 8x, those of you in UK will know that thats not good, for everyone else it is basically supermarket brand DVD-R and i have a chipped PS2 Not swap magic

somebody tried to use ArMax or Codebreaker codes for this game (the backup game)??
It doesn't work... Every backup I have works with Codebreaker and Armax but Bully is not working... It always says "Insert the cd and press ok to continue.." whats the problem?????

I tried to reburn bully yesterday using DVD Decrypter at 2.4x speed again, verified the data after burn and had awful read errors - is this due to the media? the first copy I burnt to same media, same speed but using alcohol gets all the way into the game before crashing out as you are told to get to the headteachers office.
I definately need to purchase some better media, I'm just wondering if the errors are caused by the media though or a poor game rip?
going to try the PAL version of the game (named differently) that I have seen online recently

Works fine for me with Codebreaker codes. My son was using them yesterday.

im using verbatim 16x and have burnt at 4x and 8x using Alcohol 120% and nero6, but each time it will go to the cutscene where he meets the woman who seds him to the headmaster then it goes to a loading screen and then comes up saying please enter disc close disc tray........ Is there any way past this. yes i have tried using zoneloader and i have a v7 ps2 chunky silver one.
Ill keep trying but any advice would be nice thnx

I burned the game on a IOMEGA DVD-R... it runs great, but when I insert the cd to start the game, the damn thing freezes..
