Good question, if he has a blog or regular posting place, I'm not aware of it. I have only seen him post on x-s randomly, and I think he may have an irc channel he hangs out on.

X-S has become worhtless because they are afraid to let you talk about anything there, and chancer is a big pussy with an ego who loves to ban peeps.

I have theories on why the m$ banwave comes once or twice a year...

1. Live scene, m$ don't hate piracy - it helps with xbl sales if there are plenty of people playing the latest games off the bat.

2. Do the minimum, they still need to keep up appearances for the developers who are the real victims of piracy, if piracy was as rife for the 360 and m$ did nothing then they would take it all to the ps3. Developers are already stopping dev for pc platforms.

Not to pick on you directly, but I am very tired of hearing about how M$ bans to increase console sales. THEY LOSE MONEY ON EVERY CONSOLE THEY SELL! That is a fact and the only way they make that money back is through getting their share of game sales (and accessories/Xbox Live to a small extent). The only one of the "big three" who makes money on a console sale is Nintendo with the Wii (I'm only commenting on consoles here, not handhelds). Other than that your theories aren't too off-base.

Could this change anything as to info that can be relayed to M$? I played the seed4me release of Fallout3....and then played the retail one after and overwrote my s4me created saves with the retail version booted up? Does the seed4me data stay encoded within the game data somewhere on the drive, or could the retail one overwrite that making the bad game data non-existent? I still haven't connected to live for more than a month. (since f3 leak)
Thanks for any thoughts on this. Like I said, maybe it has been answered in a different way/post, but I haven't seen it asked in my exact circumstance. Does it matter at all if the account name I use to play offline is NOT the one I use when going on live to download updates?

Good question. To be safe I would delete all of your Fallout data and then clear the cache on your hard drive before you even think of going online. Some people here may tell you you'll be OK, but I would certainly take the safe route if I were you. Also, you said your ethernet was disconnected at the beginning, have you plugged it back in at all since you played the leaked game? If so, you may already be screwed.
