I put my old starview back on and these stations are perfect. Can't figure it out.
are you using a splitter on your incoming cable feed ??

Hi JennieR,

Why would you want to ?

There is no need to enter codes or anything like that with the Kryptviews.

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

You can no longer enter codes into any boxes so i would forget about that idea as the kryptview does not have an emulator to switch on as once you put the firmware on your box it will work straight away

this is for information for the Kryptview Arnet A750 please try to keep it on this topic if possible i will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability

all you need for that box is on the end of my post in my signature

how to set it up etc

these are the Arnet boxes below

this is the older silver model

this is the latest model available

this is the cable needed below if you have a comport on your pc

this is what you need also if you dont have a comport

this is a VGA port

this is what you need on your laptop comport

This is the f connector adapter you need for your box

Radionics in Rialto Dublin stock them at 1.49euro each

or pick up a new cable with rf and push in connector most stores have these

TO MANUALLY INPUT FREQ FOR MMDS ONLY AS IT DONT SCAN THAT

network >>>> you put your provider in here ie NTL
channel you can start at 1
frequency >>>>>>>> your first number (ie) 362.000
symbol rate >>>>>> if not on 6887 change it to that
modulation >>>>>> 64 QAM it should be on that
channel search type always at >>>>> network

then press the YELLOW BUTTON ONLY

you will need to do this for each freq number you have to get it right

Hello fergusrb,
Thanks for your help and info up to now. I hope you can help with my problem.
I am flashing and scanning 4 boxes new from *** and I have no problem with 3of them.
The 4th box will not scan and keeps going back to the installation screen.

I checked and found that after a factory default if you look in Manual scan + Channel + arrow right you will see 7 TPs by default . These are not relevant to Dublin N**. When you do an installation the system goes to a screen which says ?Adding TPs?. The next screen should ask you to select the Network ID (N** Dub Legacy for example) and then it scans for all the available channels on that set of TPs for N** Dub.If you check back to Manual scan + Channel + arrow right you will see 19 TPs now . These are relevant to Dublin N**.

With the faulty box the ?Select Network ID? screen does not appear and the scan is done on the default TPs with no channels found and it returns to the start ?Installation" window.

I have tried many re-flashes and factory defaults but it?s the same every time.

Can anyone help with this ? should I just send it back ?
Has anyone had to send a box back and how did it work out?

A lot of questions but this is the best place to ask them.
Thanks in advance.

ok what i suggest to you to do is take the box off the cable fully then do a new factory default on it then switch it off at the back switch then turn it back on then connect it to the cable again when you are scanning make sure there is nothing else on the cable

also top box provider >>> n** or Cho*** next box under that

leave that set at>>>>>>> NETWORK and only press the green button then NOTHING ELSE

let me know how you get on

Okay fergusrb, I tried all that and its still the same. It skips the step where you select the Network ID (N** Dub Legacy) so it runs with the default TPs which returns no channels.
I reckon I will send it back. Thanks again fergus.
Any further ideas would be appreciated.

I would like to know what the kryptview manufacturer,s view on this box would be.Would they consider it as been tampered with?[Due to firmware been installed]I wish you well mate.

i dont think there will be a problem with it if the box is faulty just send them a mail and tell them what your problem is and should not be a problem

what box is it and if you are referring to numbers forget about it

take the freq from your old box and add them to your arnet and you cannot put them into boxes in ireland any more
