I haven't looked at it but it appears that the manual is wrong in its assumption if you are finding it that difficult.

Johy66, to move the channels you have to have the Total List displayed on top of the channel list. To get this press the red button to enter Favourite, then selct the Total List option. You should be able to move the channels about then.

I gotta say, the remote control that comes with the KV is awful. Stiff buttons that are too close together , too small etc. Very often a press is not registered and you have to press again real hard. Horrible!
BTW many thanks to fergus for his advice on procuring and installing.

Try a factory reset and then scan again
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Are you sure you didn't get a manual? The user manual comes in the white box --- but --- it is hard to find as it's between the inner and outer cardboard boxes. Try that.

I painfully reordered a load of channels on my kv yesterday. I went through th eexit-save procedure by pressing the ok button etc. Last night when I went to bed I put the kv into standby by pressing the power button on the remote (I did'nt switch off the unit). Today my channel order is gone and the channels are all over the place.
How do I save channel ordering permanently ?
many thanks

Go to Menu?.System settings?other settings?.make sure Power Search Mode is switched ON.
Exit back to TV.
If this option is NOT selected you can loose your channels when you put the box on standby. (Power Off)
It also enables the box to search for channels that may be moved by nhell during the night.

Open the box and reseat the connection block that is connected to the wires from the front panel.

if you have a display on the front of the box i would be doubtful if the connector is at fault
but in case open the 2 side screws and 3 on the back lift the cover off and look at the front fascia and you will see a connector block going from that to the board make sure that is fully pushed on to the board
