Well actually what I said in the Private message was that I'm not really supposed to Instant Message people I don't know and that if you want to ask me something personally you could send me a Private Message. But as you just said every time you try to view private messages it says you need to log in and your already logged in. The reason it does that is because your using AOL, I had that same problem. What you need to do is when you log on to AOL you need to open up Internet explorer and use it to veiw and compose Private Messages. I don't why it won't let you do it on AOL but it well let you when your on Internet explorer. Sorry if I'm making this a hassle but I'm not allowed to IM people I don't know.

Luigi.... your devil may cry works fine
all you need to do is keep hitting X or start button fast before the CAPCOM screen pops up.
Its the weirdest thing but hitting the buttons before the screen fully loads will get you into the game fine.

Hey aznplayer, no talk of rips here please. This is about legal backups only. So if your rips don't work, don't come here. Thx!

CptCrash: rips are not illegal. DVD rips are just DVD games that have been downsized so that they can fit on a cd-r.

DVD RiP's are Illegal because you are revers engineering the software in a way and so violating the software agreement of the author. The boot is intellectual property of Sony but the game should not be reproduced in part, only in full.

No it makes no difference as long as you are copying a game that you own and don't go distributing it. Just plain copying a ps2 game is violating the software agreement of the author even if you do own the game and aren't distributing it. Also lowering the quality of the game is not reverse engineering. When you reverse engineer something you don't lower quality of it (if anything you make it better) you simply make some changes to the product so that it has the same capablities only a little bit different so that it isn't considered copying. Sony would be more pissed if you make a full copy of their product than a lower quality copy of their product.

whether they are legal or not, most rips are crap and not worth the trouble. There are some games that you need all the cutscenes and stuff to understand the game if you've never played it before so ripping them would be pointless. but anyway, we all know that most rips just lack the quality and are not worth the trouble unless that is your only way you can make a backup of a dvd game (not having a dvd burner).

I had the same problem when I installed my fliptop. The problem is that the white thing isn't going down far enough in which the game spins all hay wire and the laser can't read it. What you need to do is try to bend the black pegs that hold the white thing down farther so the white thing goes lower. If you accidently break one of the pegs it's no big deal cause you can just put the white thing on manualy when desired.

good point on the rips.. I was meaning the ones folks download. However I agre with Dills, the latest Senior Member, that RIPS are CRAP. Stay away if at all possible and for sure do not download/steal to do it.
Nice work Dills
