Hey StikerZ. If it seems like it's too far down then maybe you have the white hub upside down. Look at the picture at this url: http://hometown.aol.com/austalot/myhomepage/index.html make sure that the side you see in the picture is facing down and touching the dvd/cd spinner. If the white hub was not already like that then flip it around and see if it works. If you did have it like that then here's a shore fire way to fix this if the white hubs the problem. While your ps2 is off open the fliptop lid and take out the white thing so that you can hold it in your hand. Next, place an original ps2 game in the cd/dvd tray. Then put the white hub on the dvd/cd spinner, it should stick to it magnetically. Now turn on your ps2 using the reset button not the eject button! Also keep the lid open. At this point your ps2 should read the game without any problems. Don't worry about the white thing falling off, if you put it on right you should have nothing to worry about. Tell me if this works.

No problem :) The new fliptop covers aren't as good as the original ones. Lately I've been hearing a whole bunch of problems having to do with the white hub and the new fliptops that I didn't hear when the original ones were out. Anyway I'm glad it worked!

Ive got it working but they sent me a bootleg DVD SMD and it dosent work.....what should i id about this?

Strikerz - are you sure it's a bootleg? when i got my first set of SMD, the dvd disc was bad and i needed to send it back, but it looked exactly like the ones i have now. where did you get it from?

What about the flip-top with import backups?
I just ordered a flip-top with the swap magic discs for $40, and now I'm having buyer's anticipatory remorse, thinking that it won't play PS2 Japanese DVDR backups.
What has been everyone's experience in this matter.

Additionally, I heard that the backups that don't load with swap magic do load with CDLoader? True? False?
What's the consensus?

I just purchased a Flip ? top/swap magic combo and I wondered if just DVD games. Double booted. Or do some of both. I work on a near by college campus and I use there CD and DVD duplicators to back up my games. Also does any one have or no where I can find a list of games that would not work with my setup or due to double booting or anything else.

I think my gameshark is garbage now....anybody find anything on getting cheats to work or know of any boot disk that lets you input cheats.That would be nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, MY PS2 is reading Original PS2 games but it wont read any of my Original DVD PS2 games....why?....Anyone have any ideas of whats wrong.....get back at me EVERYONE and not only Henderick this time since hes the only ones helps me all the time and no one else.....thanx EVERYONE:)

StikerZ, When you try to load ps2 dvd originals does your ps2 make a bunch of loud funky sounds?The sounds you heard when you were having trouble with that white thing. Or does it sound normal and your ps2 is just not reading the game?

Henedrick it sounds like its reading regularly...actually i know it is because it actually pick up the a game is in there at the browser screen but when i press X lo make the game start the DVD based games will not start....get back to me ig you might have any suggestions

Hey guys, I'm still stuck on devil may cry, I feel like an idiot, I seem to be doing everything right but it ust stays on black. I hit start when it finishes recognizing the memory card and then continue to but it doesn't do anything, and I've left it on a while, nothing. By the way dills, did you get around to trying hitman 2?
