Hi ferg,, A friend of mine has a KV and he said all of his sports and movies were gone, so i hooked it up to my cable, and the box is fine, what do u think is going wrong, he only lives a mile away.

are you by any chance using a VISTA pc if so it will not work with that
otherwise look back and you will see the details for how to set it up by Gman just make sure if you are using a usb adapter that it is plugged in before you do anything

try doing a new scan on his cable with no splitters on the cable

A friend of mine just phoned me,downloaded firmware for kryptview in dublin,and box wont work in ashbourne?he,s living in appartment block and is on cho--s.is it just amatter of factory reset and rescan,or is it something else,im posting this now but wont be back till tomorrow,thanks in advance.

Is it possible he is on MMDS in the apartment block or just plain cable get him to do a factory default and a new scan if that dont work use the freq from his old box and input them into the box

some appartment blocks were subbed out to different provider can u double check even a bill for info.has he had another box that worked.

yes as long as its not MMDS it will work no problem some areas do need to be manually input of the freq

As far as i know he is on n** but could be wrong and digital dont go outside of the bray area

Fergus and all the guys i want to say big thanks for getting kryptview working brilliant job, i hadn't clue but with time a lot of patients and the help from fergus a job well done.... keep the fantastic job up..! and thanks alot.

all the thanks goes to the makers of the firmware for the boxes without them we would all be in a tissy ;)

i have the same problem with sorting my channels,moved them to my preffered order but the next morning they were back to where i started.checked the settings and the power search mode was switched on,anyone any ideas?

all you channels are in order if you look press the ok button then the green button all the channels are catagorised for you movies / sports / music / kids all in order
