Hey Mr. you be nice!!!! :P
I said that was an old pic.... I'll see about some new ones and also about some of that "boozer cabling". lol. :P As you know the CM-850 psu is huge... NOT much in the way of holes on that case (mobo tray) either. :P
I may have to get out the "hole" saw and do some "modding" some day. ROFL.. :P

There should be a hole right next to that PSU. You can make it bigger with that 'hole saw' haha.

There's nothing in the case except a single DVD Rom, Graphics card, and Hard drive. Throw in a sound card, TV tuner, another hard drive, and a couple more Roms on top of those and then take a picture.:D

Yeah, even just throwing the cables in looks reasonable with a small amount of hardware like that... Sometimes I wish I had a simple PC purely for how easy it is to make one neat...

Meh, with heat rising I don't mind the PSU being at the top. :)

but then your psu would be hotter, and then louder (puzzled) vs a nice 200mm or 140mm or dual 140mm or dual 120mm fans there

Unless it's too hot in the case (which it shouldn't be), a PSU will be plenty quiet compared to most fans.

I suppose if you word process, surf the net, and burn or listen to an occasional CD that's more than enough.
My setup is a complete entertainment system with HD TV tuner, High quality audio card good for recording professional sounds (home recording studio). It plays and burns Blu-Ray, Plays HD DVDs, and more. It's never going to look that tidy because every available slot that can be filled is filled. I could however use a third Hard drive.;D

You can still game on that. You certainly don't need dual graphics to game, and you can get by with one big HDD even though I'd usually advise to have two. I've got by with no DVD drive for months, and even now one is sufficient.

Hey guys, so I have a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L and I'm trying to overclock this quad core. I set the voltage to 1.48v in the bios and CPU-Z shows it as 1.28v. First time I have had this problem. Any thoughts?

Never mind. I updated the BIOS, that fixed it. Everest still reports the 12v PSU line as 2.5v but at least I can change the Vcore now!

Okay guys don't get upset with me but, a while back there was a discussion on PSU's and some links. I'm thinkin it was Sam and Russ. Can you point me back to them. Chris Dang posted in the wrong thread thought I was in the PC building thread.

We can start it all over again if you'd like. That's probably going to be easier than finding it! lol

So I got my CPU stable at 3.4Ghz. I wont go any higher.
Sam, the F5 bios REALLY helps. You should try it out.

Yeah, you do that first. My god the F1 bios was horrible. It was generally difficult to OC due to the 8GB of ram. I hope they don't overheat or something.

4x1GB sticks get pretty scalding in my case. Hope you've got some good airflow at the top of your case (note, that means a back-facing cooler with a fan, or an intake fan in the top third of your bays, neither of which are that common) else they will get very hot.
My CPU is now fan-cooled. Motherboard temps are still far higher than before with the Dual, but the CPU is now idling at 28șC rather than the low 40s, which is nice. Whilst I was at it, I also saw fit to swap the 4-pin ATX+12V for the 8-pin. Going to run another burntest to see how the temps fare now.

Burntest completed at 2.40Ghz.
Highest temps recorded:
CPU: 49șC
Core 1: 52șC
Core 2: 54șC
Core 3: 60șC
Core 4: 61șC
Chipset: 51șC
Idle temps, CPU c. 30șC, cores c. 40șC, Chipset 48-49șC.
What I don't understand is that the NB temps used to be 38, and yet with the 10șC rise, the heatsink is no hotter than before, if anything it's cooler?
