Games wont be multy disk untill they use full potential of 360. as in all 6 threads. Currently they are using one. More threads, more space needed.

If you concider ages as 2-5 years, then yes.
In two years probably 2-4 threads are used.
3 years and above we will see games with arround 4-6 threads being used.
I cant tell you how many disks we will be seeing though.
I think arround 2-4 disks.
(Exeption of HD games, which concist of 30gb, if there is more than one of these disks, the game is a good long game. Max 2 over the period of 5 years.

i can not wait to see those games,to see how big they really gonna be, i mean oblivion is 16 square miles big and got really good graphics and its on one disk so you can imagine what will be on 2 disks.

Lol, fanyninja, you got no clue to whats comming to you?
This game is graphically good. But i concider it as good as an average PC game.
Even some PC games beat oblivion in graphics.
The developers arnt that used to making games on the 360, they are used of making games for the PC. So be expecting much in 2 years from now.
I would expect the same from the ps3.

cool sounds good,only problem is i will not be able to play much then as i will be too busy studying in uni, lol.
oh i just played the fight night round three its really good grphically and gameplay wise.

It sucks living in Australia somtimes. Your so lucky you got to play Fight Night round 3, It looks awsome.
I cant belive we are having this multi disc discussion agian. I think it pritty obviouse that the 360 games in the future will come on more than one disc depending on the game. I really cant see a game coming on more than 2 disc's like with the game cube but we will have to wait and see.
Anyone seen the new pictures of Gears of War? Also anyone know about PS3's develoment conference happening on March the 1st in London?

I cant wait till they let you play a demo of unreal tournament 2007.
ps3 with 20gb hard drive
xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.
White and black 1.5 psp's
I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

i heard alot about PS3, i heard that the grapics card is a killer, and some of the games they said are comin out on ps3 sound great. but then again time will tell, technically ps3 has to be better since it takes sony another two years to bring it out, that is heaps of extra time.

I dont think its another two years before the PS3 will be coming out. You will upset me and the rest of the forum if that was to be true.
The PS3 will at peak performance be slightly better than the 360. Know one knows exactly when its coming out but hopefully arond the first half of the year but definatly before Christmas. At most it will be released one year after the 360 was released and not two.

oh nice yeah i just checked them out, but like they said i think they are old pics that they have just brought out, kinda like the tgs ingame fooage they released recently.
ign were saying that if halo 3 does not arrive until 2007 then gears of war will be the game to keep everybody happy until it does.
also check out battle field two pics and the outfit ingame video, they are both looking good. you can already see a big difference graphically between call of duty 2 and those games.
oh and also out of all the games using unreal engine 3, such as huxley, gears of war, frame city killer, unreal tournoment 2007 will have the best graphics, so i am also looking forward to that aswell.
by the way zelda i feel your pain as england is one of the last to get stuff, well your the last but we come jsut before you, i mean i still do not even have a DOA4, so all these release dates that are coming out mean nothing to me as all games release a good 5 weeks later, apart from halo 3 i hope. i am deffinatly getting it chiped so that when games like gears of war come out then i can order it from america, but i am not sure if the online play will still work.

When I lived in England I used to think I was waiting forever for games and felt left behind but here is OZ I have to wait 3 months more than you for the 360 and most likly the PS3 aswell. Atleast the games release here around the same time as they do in England.
The outfit and battle field two pics do look quite good but nothing compared to Gears of war and Mass Effect. Yeah I thought those gears of War pics where quite old too. Use the 360 website I gave you becuase its really good for the most up to date news and use PS3today.com for the most up to date news on Playstation 3.

Yeah the reason that I didn't get my 360 from america is that ime scared of their being complications when it comes to online play too. so I wait and wait for it to come out in auss, ha ha the release of 360 is old news to you guys now, here ive still gotta w8 till march.
battle for middle earth 2 is coming to 360, I completed the first on it is a good game but I think I will get number 2 on p.c, strategy games are the only game genre I prefer playing on p.c.
There a preview of full auto which I skimmed through and it sounds like the people who played it were impressed.

but for people without a computer this is a fast and effective computer for gaming. its not so much a console any more, the ps3 is breaking many boundries previously undone.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

u do have a point, but without rules thing can become pandemoneous.
anyways an average xbox game was 4 gigs, but could go between 1 and 8. with these sizes,
you really think the 360 will be able to use one dvd for most games after a year? the ps2 was
dissed for having a big dvd, and most early games were on cd. but after some short time,
games began to take up a gig, then proceeding to more than 5 and 6 with some games,
averaging at 3
