Oh, those are just rar files. Just right click, go to open with, the choose WinRAR....then after that drag the iso to where ever you want the iso to go :)
BTW, rip confirmed working perfectly through chapter 11 :D

to bad its taking me a while to d'ling game sometimes seeder goes than comes, also you have a pciture of isobuster but you say your suppose to use apache wo which is it. apache also when you open cd dvd gen do you press dvd rom or dvd rom dual, im guessing its dvd rom since your not mkaing a dual layer dvd but i dont know never used this preogram

yeah just use apache, i used isobuster to show all you of the correct file sequence, nothing more :)
EDIT
You tricky, editing after i posted! lol
Dont push anything, when you open the iso in apache 3, just push the extract all button, no need to modify any settings.

when you open cd dvd gen do you press dvd rom or dvd rom dual, im guessing its dvd rom since your not mkaing a dual layer dvd but i dont know never used this preogram before, cheers for help

Ok guys
I have doing all your explanation.
But finally my game dont work...
I explain :
I load my game at chapter 7 before fight Seed.
All going fine : Music, fight, text, voice, movie,....
In past, game freeze after fight Seed and look all cut-scene and finally a Black screen forever
Now, After fight seed and look all cut-scene, game dont freeze on black screen!!! yea that good ^^
BUT!!!!!!!!!
Game freeze in airship lol =P
I look jaster back in airship bar, and its freeze^^
We need a other solution ^^

For information my ISO size : 4 277 504KO ^^
PS: Maybe i have something wrong, i dont know^.^
If it work for somebody then please tell it on Board ^_-
We delete 2Gb data, i guess its normal it doesn't work lol =P
And Data1_0 & 1_1 aren't music, because music work well even if i put dummy^^
I hope somebody can find a working solution ^^

Hello.
I have exactly the same problem, I burned the iso with svtstang's method, no more black screen after the fight with seed and cut-scenes, but the game crash when Jaster pop in the airship :/
My dvd size is 4.05go, and I don't think I did something wrong :/

You cannot dummy the games data,and expect the game to load
the game must be split.
i have seen whats inside the .dat files,and its needed
can some one please upload the game save for layer 2 please?
,i.e the point where it freezes at level 7

-Rogue Galaxy NTSC USA FULL DVD9 (4.48 Gb)

I have used the start 2 release. This is interesting, I am getting different answerers from diferent people. Booboo, whose iso came out to be 4.07 gigs, said he hasnt had any probs up to chapter 10. I am at chapter 8 and my iso is 3.91 gigs. I do not see why there is such a large difference in the size of the remade iso's. My advice is to give it a break, i dont want to reponsible if any of you waste another $1 worth of dvd's LOL!

the 2 main .dat files from both layers,contain mostly the same data
this can be seen from lba tables they produce,then they change.so there is defenitly something missing
lets see and hope it works 100%.

hmmmmm Then your Iso work after chapter7??
Pretty strange, why it work for somepeople and not for other....
I will try doing it again

I dont know Sorata, im hoppinh Hursty gets the game soon and can do some testing. I know for some people are not making the new iso correctly, thats a given. If we all use the same source iso there is no plausable reason to why everybodies iso is a different size.

I have class until 10 tonight, when i get home i fool around with more options....pointless prolly, but i will keep trying.

Yes i just said, Start 2 is what i used.....and it is not the method that is resulting in different size iso's. If everybody did the rip verbatim the iso sizes should be similiar, i still do not understand why everyone is getting different iso sizes.
