Sam,
I have no idea why, but it's been that way with the GA-965P-DS3, GA-P35-DS3R, MA790GP-DS4H and my Current MA790GP-UD4H. I just tried it and it won't save the overclock changes unless you hit Ctrl + F1 at the main setup screen!

Wont save OC changes? I dont have a problem with that. But for what ever reason, screwing with the ACC setting, has made it almost impossible, if not impossible to change it back. I guess I could load the overall optimized defaults, and revert back to stock. Because it makes me nervous that software is not acknowledging individual core temperatures.
EDIT - anybody else having trouble with hotmail today. Something tells me MS is preparing for tonight :D Its about as slow as dialup today!
To delete, or not to delete. THAT is the question!

Oman7,
I know this will sound strange, but go inside your computer with the computer and the PSU turned off and short out the CMOS pins. I'll bet you won't have any problem after that. I've had to do that on a number of occasions when I've had the same sort of problems.
Yes, Hotmail is running slower than mud in the Arctic! What is MS preparing for tonight?? Is there something I need to know?

Pull the battery with the PSU switched off for about 5 minutes then. I'm pretty sure you are not going to get anywhere if you don't. It can't be that hard to temporarily remove the video card! I tried every setting I could think of, and nothing worked but clearing the CMOS!

Shaff,
As far as I've seen more and more motherboards are coming with them, usually but not always, on the highest priced models. I know Asus has them only with the high priced spread! LOL!! I personally don't like them when they are mounted on the rear panel of the MB, because it only takes one little slip in moving the computer to mess things up, especially if it happens to be running at the time. I don't know what it would do, but I can't be anything good as the CMOS is under power from the battery's charger at the time. I usually just pull the battery most times if I'm uncertain.
Best Regards,
Russ

You must be joking, Asus ROG boards are the only ones I've ever seen use them. Besides, it must have been three years + since I've had to reset the CMOS on any board I've owned.

The PSU info you have to read off the sticker, the case you'll either have to know or tell us where you bought it from.
Chances are if you don't know what's in the PC you bought it from a company like HP or Dell, and if you did, it can't be overclocked. Don't let anyone tell you about pin-mods either, I don't trust them.

A Sempron 2400+ won't be very upgradeable, especially in an SiS board. You could get literally 10x the performance of that system by building a cheap new one.
