anubis it depends on the game, when it comes to picking your own game to play or whatever, like call of duty 2 has a really bad xbox live layout but halo 2 is perfect. also with xbox 360 live layout is even better than before b/c all you have to do is press one button and you can join a friends game.
so plz anubis stop with this xbox live can not pick its own server because it depends on the game.

chimpanel the launch lineup was not that great, what i mean is that although the base of the games are good they are just not finished, thats the feeling i get. they just all seem to have been rushed, but do not get me wrong they are great games and much better than most average games. we are starting to see proper games like fight night rounf three, which i played and personally think is awesome.
also i really, really hope they bring out a demo version of gears of war like they did condemed and fight night round three.

well for starters i never really liked those kind of games like pdz and MGS. but apart from that i really hate the game, its so damm boring and online play is not anything special, if you want my opinion get call of duty 2 and pgr 3 oh and DOA4 those are the best games for me out of all the releases. oh and if you are worrying about the lagging problem on call of duty 2 online then worry no more b/c they are making a new patch whcih will sort that out.

oh i forgot to mention the graphics on pdz are pretty smooth but thats the only good point, when DOA4 releases here i am going to trade that in for it. and i might do the same with condemed but first i will give it a chance before i sentance it to trade in
oooh i just saw an adveret for DOA4 on tv, cool i am going tomorrow to buy that, lol. so i gues its going to have to be PDZ OR CONDEMED, the decision is on, lol.

the 360s launch lineup was not pitiful at all, It had the most games,18 i believe, ever for a launch, and many of them were very good games and the launch covered almost every genre as well, the only thing missing was an rpg but there are many comming out this year. Sony is also building a strong launch lineup, which is a must. In response to ragnarok2's comments about sonys online play, xbox live is also free now, the paid subscription is for all the extras like downloadable content, etc. I personally spent many hours playing socom II online it is awsome but after the release of Halo 2 i think more people were playing that then socom II. I hope that Sony is focusing on online play, there are gunna need something to combat with the enormous amount of people jumping online to play Halo 3!

yes you can join a firends server, but there is no server list to join like on pc and on ps2. i like that ability.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

OK anubis66 Umm I think the show you were talking about earlier was NAB. Which will be held from April 24-27. http://www.nabshow.com/
And now back to this threads Pricing rumors. I think that the PS3 will cost around $500 (and so do many other people) even thought they have about $1200 in a single system. Some would question me on this and ask why would sony sell a system for less than what they have in it? Because when they buy a massive amount of parts they get a rediculess discount but would still loose a quite abit of money. So i think that they will make all of there money back (relativly quick) from software. The Blu-ray disk would probably cost them about $60 each to produce when they first come out(so i assume) but later on as time progresses the price of a single bd will drop drasticly down to... oh say like $2 a disk. So there for they make there profits back and we can get our kick a$$ system cheaper and be screwed in the price of software.
P.S. Whats with all the bloody 360 fanboys I thought this was a PS3 thread

Well as long as you could choose what type of server to be on that sounds cool. Like if I want to play someone in California I shouldn't be allowed because of my location.

yeah. alot of what they ask in that sevey is better than xbl. i like server lists, not random game insertion. i also like to come in on games that already started, and as i know from halo 2 neither is possible. all xbl has is quick insertion and friends. also this arcade thing but the revolution will pwn it.

Your worthless 2 cents has been noted, crumpled up and flushed down the toilet with the rest of the shit! It must be nice to be able to compare the one system that is out with 2 that are not and come up with evidence to state your case! U Dork!

if anyone here senise the 360 is poorly made then you are ignorant. that push back their release date, they produce few and fast sonsole, its riddled with bugs such as scraches, system malfunctions while playing games like doa4, overheating to point of failure, a not too wonderful line-up, and then lying and saying "omg there are only a few messed up console and you have nothing to worry about. so go pay $750 for one of there because after you buy all the much need periphreals it will cost about that."

Yeah cause no company ever had faulty hardware or software after their initial launches! PS1 and PS2 were just flawless with no problems....right on brother! All of you biased fan boys should take your not very well thought out comments over to the childrens table. Al of your arguments for your favorite system and arguments against your least favorite are ridiculous! Stop throwing the heresay around and come up with some valid points. Yes I am a Microsoft fan but also own the other systems and can come up with good and bad points on all.

haha im bias cuz i dis a system for having such a botched release? i dis it because it diservers it. they should have tried harder and done the beta testing themselves and not on the public. sure other system have have problems but not to this nature and extent.

You know an outside source did a study saying that only 3% of the Xbox 360 released had problems, such as overheating and disc scratches. Which is actually the norm for new hardware when it is released. The only reason it sounds more horrible than what it really is because people such as yourself are turning an ant hill into a mountain. Dude seriously grow up.
