maybe 3% have them all, but about everyone i know with a 360 has had one or two problems, either crashes overheating or scratches on the disk. but again, the public is always m$'s beta testers, they do little on their own. look at the first release of windows xp, it was still beta till sp1, and all the bugs and slow speeds...
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Microsoft doesnt give a fly'n sh*t in space if they have to recall several thousand Xbox's.. Look at Microsofts history... Everything the ever released was Beta then later the finished product was out...still with bugs... I told several buddies..DONT BUY THE DAMN XBOX 360 Yet,wait a lil while...No they didnt listen..2 of them now returned the XCRAP 360 until a later product returns..(I talk to a guy at Wal-smart and he claims that there were more returns on Xbox 360 after the holidays then anything in the store.)The damn things would over heat after 2 or 3 hours of continous play and freeze. A fat lazy biotch as myself doesnt want to have get up and reset the damn thing every 2 hours, thats too much damn walking from my couch to the console... thats a whole 6 foot...J/k Im not fat or lazy but my point is how do you enjoy the gaming if you keep running into problems...

have you baught anything from them?
how many people with a 360 with problems do you know? in person? i count about 3, and i know 4, 2 already had to get new ones. i was told the 360 was the most returned item when i was at the store today, and that alot of the new systems will be comprised of the failed systems parts to save cash.

Conjecture, conjecture, conjecture....
I've just wasted 30 minutes of my life (which I will never get back) reading this forum. I was hoping to find some inside information about the PS3 launch, but all I got was a bunch of guesswork and misspellings.
I can't believe how much time you guys spend guessing at what Sony is going to do and criticizing Microsoft's 360 launch. Why not state the obvious - what we DO know:
1) Sony has a stranglehold on the worldwide console market. This is not by accident. Regardless of what they might have done in the past, or what they may do in the future, they have been successful for a reason. It's reasonable to expect that the PS3 will be all it's purported to be.
2) Microsoft's 360 launch has had some problems (unit availability and quality); however, they should be applauded. They will probably beat the PS3 to market by nearly a year, which is what they had to do to try to get some of Sony's market share. Anyone who doesn't think Sony will have similar problems with quality and availability are kidding themselves.
3) Competition between Sony and Microsoft is good for us - the consumer. It's basic economics. Corporate competition drives innovation and pricing. You and I benefit from all of it.
4) Early adopters of ANY new technology will pay a premium for it. I know people who spent over $1000 for their first VCR. Regardless of what pricing point Sony chooses for the PS3, people will pay it. Simple economics state what "the market will bear". Do you really think Sony would be so foolish as to turn its back on its user base by releasing a next-gen console at a price point they wouldn't pay. Sony's legions of marketing executives will have done their due dilligence on how the PS3 should be priced, and I'm sure it will be at a level the public is comfortable with.
5) A large number of heavy gamers will own both systems. I know several people with both XBOX and PS2 units, and I know 360 owners who plan on buying a PS3 as well.
6) Online gaming is the bread and butter of current and future gaming. Aside from the fact that Sony and Microsoft will probably never come up with a way for users of both systems to play together online, I think we can agree that it is here to stay. Personally, my experience with online console gaming has shown me that there are too many sorry-ass cheaters and quitters for me to fully enjoy the experience.
7) Unless your name is Ken Kutaragi or Bill Gates, you don't know what Sony and Microsoft are doing, so stop guessing. There are too many of you who are trying to pose as authorities on a subject by using second and third hand information. The only insiders in this discussion work for Microsoft and Sony - and they're not talking - not in THIS forum anyway.

Very true shacklyn. I stopped posting on these forums for a while becuase the same old speculation was coming out time and time again.
Sony will have a large hold on the industry like it has already and its good Microsoft are there for competition.
However the only thing is that from both thier past consoles its hard to believe anything Sony show or say becuase it never turnes out as powerful as they suggest. However the PS3 will be a very powerful console and will slightly beat the 360 in terms or power, but not by much. Therefore it will be the quality of the games and services that will determine the outcome of the next generation battle as well as the publisity and marketing.
