Sounds like the problem is with your blank media, not with the movie.

Okay, your burner doesn't like your media, which burner do you have?

Let's try burning the .iso file with Imageburn
www.imgburn.com
If you need I can post a pic guide to help. If this works, then the problem lies with CloneDVD, if not, the manufacturer of the disks has changed for your HP disks and your drive doesn't like them. HP along with others have used many different manufacturers for their products. The majority of the long time members swear by the three following types of disks, Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, and Sony.

i usually try to stay with sony or verbatim but i was in a pinch and picked these up instead
how can i make several backups of other movies with these disc before WALL-E and then just out of the blue my burner doesn't like them anymore
you will have to guide me probably, i have never used it, but i am sure it is my media because clonedvd is burning it but it just will not write it, i can get new media tomorrow and try again if you think that is best

Darn it. Looks like I may be using fixvts from now on. Never used it before. But people have been speaking of it alot lately, and well... I backed up wall-e and and encountered the "Setup" issue that others have mentioned. Not a big deal thank heavens. But I guess im gonna look into yet another software (Fixvts). :o

To delete, or not to delete. THAT is the question!

I'm gonna get this Wall-E today and see how it's going to be. However, I have faith in DVDFab HD Decrypter and I'll report back with a small guide for "newbies" or those that needed helps.

Why don't you try DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip, then process the already "ripped files" with VobBlanker or FixVTS, then continue on with any of your desire transcoder/encoder engine.

Download the latest DVDFab HD Decrypter here http://www.dvdfab.com/download/DVDFab5118Beta_avangate-689.exe

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

There are the 1-disk and 3-disk versions of Wall-E out there. The 3 disk has the main movie on 1 disk, special features on the 2nd, and the digital copy on the 3rd.

So far from what I have seen, the copies I have that have the digital copy on a seperate disk, have been very easy for me to rip with the latest version of dvdfab. Seems to me the encryption is less on multi-disk movies that contain a seperate digital copy.

(just my 2 cents)

Try using a tool like Daemon to mount the iso and play it with your Soft DVD Player. If it plays OK, then your have isolated it to a BURNING issue .... might be the media, I always use Taiyo Yuden THE BEST for SL .....try ImgBurn ..... it's the BOMB !!!!

Cheers ... AX

What error message do you get?
Can you post the burn log?

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

I've read more of your posts ..... could be that the burner might be going bad, depends on how many burns you've made. I've had to replace one or two ..... DO YOU have a spare to try, borrow one ?

This is going to sound stupid, but after you use dvdfab to rip the files from the DVD, what do you do with them? What burner do you use? Nero?

Ok well I used DVD Fab and made a Wall E file that contains a AUDIO_TS folder (empty?) and a VIDEO_TS file. How do I use that with ImgBurn, or did I use DVD Fab the wrong way?

I tried to copy with the latest versions of anydvd and cloneDVD2
but I have a strange problem
it seems that my dvd cannot detect the files on the dvd.
When I try to play the dvd on the computer, have the following situation :
When I am on the menu of the movie and I select "start movie"
I see Wall E, shooting wiht something and then the movie doesn't start, I am redirected to the main menu. The same happens when I want to select a part of the movie.

when I look at the titles on clone dvd, the time of the parts of the movie is '0.00'

can anyone help me ?

You do not need to create an ISO. You can burn the files directly. The guide explains how.

after using dvdfab you will need to transcode the file with dvd shrink, nero recode 3 etc. unless you are using DVD+R DL media, here is a good guide
