Could the receiver for the remote control be taken out or is it integraed onto the main board or is it connected with wires ?

I wanted to put the a750 into a press and just have the receiver for the remote outside of the box
anyone ? i would have thought that someone tried to do this already ...

Only have this kryptview box 24 hours and am sick of it already. Cannot get the damn thing to auto scan anything no matter what I do. Have tried all the connections in the house and nothing. Only gets 7 tp's (when the Starview 4 that I just flashed got 43) and it finds nothing on any of them.
The starview 4 USB is up and working on all stations. Only pity is it is not in my house.

Did you flash the box yourself ?

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Yes. Did flash it myself and it did work. If I manual scan freq 315.00 it does pick up about 10 stations. But if I autoscan it does not even pick up that frequency to scan.
I actually think it may be a signal quality issue. My ordinary NTHELL is completely jumpy at the moment, so could be that. But any suggestions would be welcome.
Signal strength is about 77% but quality does not even register.

And people keep saying that after I choose my provider it should prompt for my local area but it does not do that. It goes straight to the scan. really annoying

Yeah I would agree with you that I am doing it wrong but I don't seem to have a choice.
When I switched it on it went to the easy installation menu. I went to the bottom option
It was already set toNTHell
Left it on Network and pressed the green button. (it never gave me anything to do with Dub Legacy)
It then went and found 7 TP's and scanned them and found nothing.

I have since done a factory reset and tried again a few times but nothing.....

Never had issue with my old starview so am reasonable used to do this sort of thing.

Any thoughts?

Sorry to hear you are having difficulty, I have to admit I was and probably still am not the best at working out these things, Tp could'nt tell you what it stands for but mine has 19 while another has 21, from what i can gather its the tuning range its all linked into, your signal strenth is perfect. I would suggest factory reset followed by intallation, automatic search to get those tp's, then manual search and fingers crossed, who knows,
Good luck and again and again it will eventually stop we hope.
