yeah i will see you guys on ping pong game next week when i get it.

drcool, yuou are probably right its just that, we still do not know any of this maybe your correct maybe not, all we know is that xbox 360 does have exclusives, does have good graphics and the ps3 is releasing with equaly great things.

there are a few more things to take into consideration, like the fact that in three years devs will also know the xbox 360 tech better. the xbox 360 is easier to develope for, so devs will get beter fatser then on the ps3 and M$ being softwarre giants have brought out a software for devs to make it a lot easier to develpoe on xbox 360, even though it was already easier than ps3. then there is the fact that in the future games will start using unified shader, and its not something i am making up it something developers have been saying.

Why's everyone always bringing up Xbox 360? These people who purchased their 360's need to chill the hell out and go enjoy their console instead of trying to justify their purchases on a PS3 forum.

they reason people were dissapointed is becaus ethey dont want to have to spit out the extra cash, but most who want the extra features see it as a worthy expense. the game coming for 360 are good, i admit, but they dont apeal to me as much. almost all the fps's for it are somewhat just large bulky things killing eachother in weird unheard of areas and places. sometimes theres too much originality. i like to stick with things i know and love, and a sequal to a game i enjoyed i will enjoy more than something original, as long as that game got me into the charaicters and their life. sony does great with having games that immerse you into the life of the game. things like gow, sure they look fun but its jusdt big overly storng steroided men fighting ugly aliens in a worls i know nothing of. maybe if it were like unreal 2, where its a world i know from the tournament turned real, then that would be awesome. i like that whole thing.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

sony has gotten plent of middleware for the ps3, if you do your reseach. they shouldnt have a problem at first while they know less, and working with it could only improve it. it al depends on how the devs use the material they have and how they remember it and can do their own coding.
The list of open standards includes:

PSGL, a modified version of OpenGL ES 1.0 with extensions specifically aimed at the PS3[29]
OpenMAX, a collection of fast, cross-platform tools for general "media acceleration," such as matrix calculations.

Sublicensed technologies includes:
AGEIA's PhysX SDK, NovodeX.
Epic's Unreal engine 3.0 framework.
Havok's physics and animation engines.

Japanese Developers Talk New Consoles
Tecmo's inimitable Tomonobu Itagaki says things only he can say: "It is most interesting to see Sony made the decisive judgment to revert the PlayStation 3 controller to its true shape. It takes great bravery for a company to change something that has already been announced."

If they aren't sell in Japan developers will eventually just ignore them and the Xbox360 will become a fps console again just like the Xbox before it. As mainly American developers will be supportin it majorly.

haha yeah.
i in no way right now like the 360 over the ps3. it just doesnt suit my needs. but if the ps3 blows for some reason, imma stick with pc.

I hear the online will be every bit as good as anyother sevices (not calling any names). So imagine sitting with wireless controls playing a high def 1080p game online over wi-fi with the surround sound bangin at your ears and your fingures bleeding cause you just can't move AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be a while before people are playing in 1080p seeing how its like a treasure hunt to find t.v's that are capable of outputting it and the ones you find are more costly just for the miniscule upgrade.but be ready for the catch fellas theres something fishy about sony holding back the price of games and the fact that theres not a snowball chance in hell sony can provide all their saying online wise for free.
