Finally got it!!
1. Backed up DVD to hard drive with AnyDvD 6.4.7.0
2. Compressed DVD with Nero Recode with ISO output
3. Burned with Imgburn
Thought I had but when playing movie end credits would play first so sent back through recode (movie only) and removed the first couple of mins. Burned another copy and played fine.

Did this movie a few weeks ago (Region 2), movie only with whatever version of DVDFab was out at the time, either 5.0.8.5 or 5.0.9.0.
79.5% compression, so ran it thru DVD Rebuilder. No problems with ripping at all, unlike a lot of you having problems with Region 1 it seems.

hmmm... Anydvd Ripper 6 4 7 0 Ripped it to the hard drive, Then i opened the files with SHRINK, Noticed that the Arrangement was &^%$&%^% !!! I left it alone. Except for Compressing the BEEP out of everything but the movie. Or should i say UNREFERENCED MATERIAL. LOL. I didnt see any "CREDITS PROBLEM" Powerdvd Played it normally. LOOKS LIKE A STUPID MOVIE. Not a clooney fan by any means.

Wow
So all the helpful hints are about backing up the entire dvd but no matter how i rip it iam unable to do movie only. Shrink does not let me grab the movie only.
Ran it thru both FixVTS and VOB Blanker and shrink finally did recognize it.
So i did movie only and created my back-up but when i played it on a stand alone player dam thing skipped ahead at the beginning.

If you follow the steps I used and then re-rip the back up with anydvd, then use shrink again it will be correct. You can do movie only that way

SO re-riping it would work but then i would lose quality? Am i correct? I usually only like doing the movie with nothing else for best quality.
guess i will just have to wait for this to be corrected in future DVDfab Decrypter Updates.

dvdfab has been silent lately on Leatherheads. Perhaps they are have a problem. You could always use Anydvd 6470

Re-Ripping: The quality should look near identical to the 1st ripped backup. It's already sized and most of the time the encryption is removed except for the dvdclone/anydvd running in the background combo for leatherheads.
Clonedvd and Anydvd backups are still leaving something on the backups that dvd shrink won't rip by itself and with anydvd enabled.Imgburn and Dvd decrypter has no issue re-ripping it.It's not the disc because I tried some test burns with dvd +rw media and same result.
In an earlier post,I wanted to know if someone else had that issue. They just have to try to re-rip that Leatherheads-clonedvd/anydvd backup onto the HD using dvd shrink as the ripper. I've never encountered anything like that in the last 5 years.
Here's the error when I tried to re-rip using dvd shrink/anydvd:
When re-ripping backups: Make sure you make that 1st backup as good as you can by using quality media, quality burner, and a safe burn speed at 4x-8x. You want as few errors as possible on that first backup.
Myself, I've re-ripped from a backup disc that was re-ripped 3 different times with near identical quality.

By re-ripping (The back-up disc), I mean with AnyDVD to HDD on slow & quiet setting.
Then use Shrink to burn those files to an ISO file, that ISO file will be excatly like any other DVD, the movie will be under main movie and not as unreferenced material

On a re-ripped backup disc, you will not see a quality difference. It's a 1:1 copy. It's not like the ancient vcr dubbing days when the tape you recorded from was twice as bad of quality than the tape you copied from.
I've already got my copy of leatherheads backed up. I was just wanting to know if someone that used the clonedvd/anydvd method,if they could slap that particular backup disc into the computer, open disc and see if dvd shrink will open it. It'll fail with a File E:/ error. I wanna know if others get that same error. I tried it again last night with DVD Decrypter ISO read/ISO write mode and a perfect playing backup, but again, dvd shrink says failed to read File E:/
This is trialing on 3 machines,ImgBurn, and DVD decrypter. I just slapped one of the backup test discs using nerorecode and no trouble with. It's very odd that dvd shrink is the only program that won't open up Leatherheads backups.

@Saugmon,
I've heard that this was not a good movie, maybe Shrink has seen enough bombs in its lifetime to know when to say "No" to a film...??

To further add to Sauggy's info, you usually have better luck ripping with the same drive that you burned to disk with. This is for those of you with multiple drives in your tower.

I was having problems with this movie also this past week. Thought it might be due to the little line going completely around the disk. But after reading here, I downloaded the newest AnyDVD. Did not work at all.
Then, I updated my DVD Fab Plat to the latest and copied right to the hard drive. I then used Nero 8 to burn it to disk. Checked disk and it works fine. Everything is there.
Reason why I don't let DVD Fab burn directly to disk is for some reason, Version 5 has a glitch that every time I backup a disk, I get a FREEZE around the 1hr 18min mark. Movie freezes for like 30 seconds and then continues. Good luck everyone.

I read a thread somewhere on here that suggests IRONMAN will be encrypted. Other than being new, there's no reason to believe that. Both sony and lionsgate would appear to have given up on DVDS. Im probably gonna kick myself in the teeth for saying that but... It wont surprise me to be an easy backup. I dont recall a "Dark Blades Films" Rip. Iron man appears to be their first. THOUGH... Sony, Universal, And Paramount are accredited. I am soooo sorry.. I shouldnt have threaded this. I have a way of hexing things. Now it'll probably be the worst encryption to date. BUT NOW THAT IVE SAID THIS...

Ironman so far wasn't that heavily encrypted. My only thought is that the single disks seem to have a harder encryption, and they have given up on the 2-disk versions.
