If you only have one battery and want to unbrick your PSP, you can.
1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator", but before you press X, press TRIANGLE to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin
2) Unbrick your PSP as normal
3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick. Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger, it will not start up)
4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery
5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again
6) Press L+R to restore the ms0:/eeprom.bin to your battery
NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally, but there could be side-effects.
Have fun, and thanks to everyone in the Prometheus/C+D team.
i tried that and it didnt work
i pressed triangle then it closed then i opened it agin and made battery then i unbricked and now wen i press L+R it sez error writing 0x14 and then it sez done but wen i start my psp with the battery it still goes to service mode... wats wrong? do i have to delete the stuff on the mstick first or wat? i know i backed up my eeprom cuz i saw it in the psp drive
i dont wana try the [] thing yet cuz its not my battery and i dont want the side efffects
PLZ HELP!
Just keep pressing L+R, thats how i got it to work for me.
There isnt really any side effects with square

I'm sorry, but the old batteries don't work in a Slim...
Okay, yes, you can create a Pandora Battery for the Fat using a Slim, but why not just try and see for yourself, instead of asking? Like it's going to blow up (Hey, i guess it could... o.O)

Hey, i'm just wondering if someone can help me. i'm unsure about some things. In the tutorial it says you need a 1.50 psp to create a pandoras battery, do you also need a 1.50v psp to create the magic memory stick or can that be done on a 3.50v psp.
Also a pandoras battery is basically a battery that boots up in service mode yeah? because im wondering if i can use a PSP Battery Service Tool to create a pandoras battery.
i'll appreciate it if anyone can answer these questions. Thanks!

In the tutorial it says you need a 1.50 fat psp or a CFW(Custom FirmWare) PSP to make a Pandora. No you cannot use a 3.50 OFW(Official FirmWare)
I love psobb but i need a credit card # to get back on :(

Actually, i thought there was a way to do it without CFW or 1.5
and then you'd just have to hardmod your PSP.

I had a bad idstorage for some reason after I downgraded my psp to 1.50 and couldn't reset my pandoras battery. It was auto fixed when I installed 3.8 M33 so now I'm wondering how I can reset my pandoras battery. I have the eeprom.bin that pandoras battery creator generated, so how do I set my battery back? I was thinking I could just make a new Magic Memory Stick with the eeprom.bin in the root of it and then try that, would that work and how would I do it? Please help me.

I think there is no need to make the magic memory stick again >_>
First, you'll have to power up your PSP with your AC adapter ^_^
Then, connect the PSP to your PC and put the "eeprom.bin" to the root of your PSP memory stick and put the "pandora battery creator" program in your PSP ^_^ (DO NOT run the program now)
Then insert your battery (AC adapter should be still connected) and then run the "pandora battery creator" program, press "L" & "R " together (i.e left and right trigger together) and it'll flash the eeprom back ^_^
You will get a "write error 0x14" something like that which is normal ^_^
So don't worry ^_^

Also, did you install the 1.50 kernel for 3.80m33 on your PSP ??? o_O

Use the UPMS v4 (Guide stickied here...) it's just a variation of the Pandora.

I know you're frustrated and all, but there is no need for caps.
You have 2 options:
1. Hardmod your battery
2. Buy a DATEL battery off eBay of something.
