graffik: That's pretty sweet. Sounds a lot easier than my method. I have to record the TV input with a DVD drive I have that burns it directly to a DVD. Then I have to rip the ISO, uncompress it to get the raw VOB file(s) and then I can use this software called MediaPlayerClassic to capture my stills. (It was A BIATCH to get stocks for some of my sigs!)
phillip06: Sorry buddy, I have no idea what that combo thing is; I haven't really even started the Journal. However, to get all the "extreme" cups all you have to do is lvl up your Summons. That's the trigger for them all. Beware of the last cup though. I found its last battle rather difficult and I was lvl 99. (Proud Mode of course)

Form Leveling Up/Summons level up - I checked Beasts castle is ok, but a much better place appears to be land of the dragons The drive balls are much more frequent, and are also in the misc. thinms you can destroy. Just a tip for people might be a good area to level up yopur forms/summons

Tv cards start under $50 the cord to connect ps2 to a cable imput @ $10, you prob have the cord anyways most of them record directly to AVI or mpeg, though few can be paused (basically you have to start/stop only)

LEVEL UP/ SUMMONS
My was this a tricky effort finally figured it out tho- Some of the forms require experience points to level up, some require drive orbs, some i think require amount killed during a form, Summons appear to only level up when drives are recharged during battles. They really make that tricky in order to get to the final benifits of that don't they. Oh well fun gam.
Took a hecka long time got all 7s on forms and summons
Anyone know how to get 1000 points on the orbs in the colliseum max i can get is like 370 and the journal asks you to get 1000 must be some trick or something.. i know lightning doesn't blow them up, and simply hacking thems a waste of time hacking ewnough to get big orbs also, takes too long to hack the small ones.. any wuicker ways?
Magnera may get most in 1 place, buit doesn't smash 'em

Summon Stitch and Do the ukulele thing and orbs will come pouring out of the enemies while doing no damage at all. You could potentially do this forever if you have enough drive/mp. Good luck :).

Thanks But that option only works on areas you can summon stitch (already knew about it) That is not one. You are as single player in the pot breaking area 'maniac' there must be another way to break the pots it does not appear magic, or simple hack and slash works

There is quite a few mini-games I feel are impossible due to time restrictions- (to fill jounal)Poster duties second part, The Junk Pile 2nd part (due to not being able to destroy without swinging), The breaking potts p2 , mail delivery probably more, the times not acceptable for tasks at hands the creators should have given more time on those Even the fight with the Musical notes was near impossible to complete as-is I tried transforming only got them via smashing as anti-sora. An extendable timer cheat would be wonderful for these

It's a waste of time on virtually all those parts due to the time restrictions maybe 20-25 seconds minimum for the cargo climb, maybe 400 points out of 1000 to bust pots etc
there's simply not enough time on them they should have given better. I did not even bother with things like the poster duty even with glide availability would take about 25 seconds alone just to float around edges not even considering the placement I know all it does is gives points towqards jimis journal however be nice if avg person could even complete them 15 seconds is not enough on these

graffik, I tried out poster duty today to see what you were talking about. I got a little over 31 seconds on my 4th try. That's w/o even searching for an optimum route; basically freestyle. I think these mini games require a little bit more thought than the rest of the game which is basically hack and slash. Slow down, think them through, and use the abilities given to you! (Reading a guide or two couldn't hurt ;) )
Some one was talking about the garbage sweep or w/e as well as the cargo climb. What you need to do is take off all combo pluses, equip negative combo, and equip Fenrir. Then every single hit is critical. This way, you can break ALL of the garbage things after you move them into a clump in one hit. Also, the cargo climb thing will bounce into the air much more frequently which will allow you to hit it bounce it up the hill mad style.
These are just a few techniques I've found that helped after fooling around today. Jiminy's Journal looks like it'll take a while. Also, try and remember that patience being a virtue crap. It might help here :).

Agree with kingsora on that...
I thought that stuff's impossible, too, at first but by now I got everything completed except for the final Hades Cup with 15.000 points... bugs me you gotta start with round 11 in order to be able to get that much points - mostly lost in round 43 or so then and to get there it always takes about an hour or so... that's really annoying. I'm currently maxing stats by synthesizing Def. and Power-Ups - that takes a while, too, but is more fun than fighting through the same 40 rounds again and again...
I'm also still working on getting all the gummi missions on 100% - that's kinda cool, though :)
*need to finish that game with EVERYTHING possible* X_O

Please help me someone!
I used all my mythril crystals when I was lvling up my moogle so I could get half the amount of materials needed for rank S and get my ultima keyblade. I have already gotten all the treasure chests in the game- can I somehow synthasize a mythril crystal, or find one somewhere that isn't a treasure chest, or get it any other way - please help *_*;

You get mythril crystals by synthesizing mythril gems with a higher rank - that'll make the crystal. You need, uhm... don't know for sure now, but I think it is 1 dense crystal, 2 dense gems, 1 twilight crystal and 2 twilight gems. I'm certain about the last two but I'm not sure about the dense items...

I know it's just hella annoying trying to calculate 60,000 different possible scenarios in order to simply do a task. Anyways if anyone wants clear still images of the game let me know i can capture them in reasonable size from my tv-card I could capture vid clips however no web storage for that

I'm trying to capture the game and cut it so that I can make it watchable like a (pretty long) movie on DVD - but since I'm from Europe (PAL devices here) and the game's NTSC (don't like translated versions) all the caps are b/w... gotta buy a card that can capture NTSC... BUT I WILL! :D

I use a AVERtv-go fm might work allows for recording to pal or ntsc
Only has start record/stop record though (no pause during recording) allows you to record avi, mpeg 1-mpeg 3 and dvd quality (as mpeg) various combos, maybe thats a good idea.
I think it costs 40-70 usd
I captured the first 3 arial songs with it for a neighbor kid

This is why i was asking for summons level up help - you need to have forms and summons leveled up to enter them. I finally did it with the help here read previous posts

Thanks so much! I made a Mythril crstal with a Mythril stone and either just an Energy crystal- or an Energy crystal and a Bright crystal! Thank you!

Concerning Capturing all the footage: I already have most the hardware to do this. It's just that when I record, I can't see or hear what's going on myself. I need three RCA splitters so that video, and both audio channels can be recorded, AND routed to my TV/speaker setup. I've been meaning to head down to a Radioshack, but the one right by my house closed.
Also, what exactly are you doing? Recording every single video in the game and then conjoining them into one big file so people can watch it like a movie? There's... well a lot of videos in the game buddy; many of which are completely pointless. This file will most likely be huge, and fairly long. I'd recommend editing out the pointless, non-storyline-advancing video segments out, and keeping just the hardcore/fun/plot relevant videos in the video.
Also, couldn't you use Windows Movie Maker if you captured in WMV? You could get some pretty cool effects/credits in there using some semi-professional software for some nifty editing. Good luck with the project.
