I had my hard time with this damn cup, too...
My "solution" was to level up till lvl 100 and max my stats till about 100 for strength and defense plus Final Form at lvl 7 - was easy then, but takes time of course. :)

LEVELING UP MASTER FORM- Here's a quick level up for him if you want to- GOTO the land of the dragon find spots where they have the wagons/rockets etc smash them as master- exit-reenter, repeat. Thats the highest amount of drive orbs i've seen and master form makes quick work of the wagons, and they regenerate on reentry same area.. Good place summit to next level below then back to summit etc. or cave near village. destroying each set of objects gives 10-30 exp to the master guage (may also work other forms requiring it) and summons. (you do not get exp points but lots of drive orbs :)
Underworld cups-Speaking of cups you guys even able to get 5000 or more points on the titan cus for jiminy's journal you think just passings it's hard hehe. Getting through them is difficult enough let alone doing so to complete the book :)

Yea I kicked the hell out of the Hades Paradox Cup n/p with killing Leon with thundaga from zoomin across the screen and zap ZAP ZAP dead. Next was Tifa with the same technique, then cloud got a beat down sword to sword dodging his blue fall move, then yuffie. It was so easy i went back and did it real quick from round 11 with stich for the 15,000 points. Using glide 3 to get to other end of the arena and thundaga makes it easy a pie- The cosmic arts accesory helped alot also. Does anyone know at all how in the %$#@ I get my moogle to synthesize the first 3 things on the list, also- i keep using serinity materials to synthasize something better then a mythril crystal- and it's just not happening. Nothing will get any better, and I really don't know how to get the first 3 ???? on the list the moogle has- any suggestions???

Are you at the highest moogle level? for some you also have to collect recipes...
As for the cup: I found it by far easier to use Peter Pan and Neverland instead of Stich - it will also get you the 15.000 easy and you can beat the guys at the same time. The attack with triangle (in Peter's Limit mode) is also damn good against Pete - where you have to kill him before he loses you all of your points. :)

MOOGLE - SYNTHISIS -> synthesize all you can grab all components you can. select free development, creations whatever keep creating 'em eventually you will level it up.
Good synthisis capture point -> summit (top) of pride lands enter see all the bird things flying cast Magnet (whichever one you have) keep doing it even with low magic points the bird things drop magic refills and they frequently drop a synthesis item (one type forget which)
they're real easy to kill and best of all exit the area, return they are all back there :) good place to level up also
another frequent drop of same type synthesis materials is the final town
Save ap boosts only for yourself donald and goofy, and make sure you have all orb capture/money thing abilities as highest priority to get special objects
RARE HEARTLESS -> they will appear frequently on entrance to underworld cavern (i forget which either the one to hades or the other one) they usually drop off rare and exotic items

Has anyone beat sephroith yet? I fought him at lvl 50 and got killed in seconds.. He has a whole 12 bars of life

Yeah, I did - with lvl 100 though.
Just see that you have Second chance equipped (and the other ability that keeps you one HP after a combo) and some elixiers.
When he's casting Sin Harvest, either beat him or use an elixier at the right time (use it right before the spell hits you so you'll cure right after it hit you) and keep hitting him. :D

SERIPOTH- I defeated him, yes but with unlimited health. However some tips when he tosses you in air (he obviously will) tap the SQUARE BUTTON to defend and sometimes you will counter attack (same with lava throws) he's easier in my opinion than kh 1 he had a destroy all hp attack in that 1 and could use it 2-10 times per fight
There is rare special move triangles but they don't last long they will usually only appear when running towards him.
Try using DASH button to run towards him while swinging
FEFNIR is a good choice for this fight
AKIRA nope - I usually post what i have experienced in the game- However on occasion if somone asked for a real rare object like crown/g i looked it up :)

i beat sephiroth in lvl 67 account. no cheats, with ultima weapon. like graffik said tap scuare buron when ur in air, and use curaga magic and potions. (it is preferible that u have the hi jump ability to hit sephiroth when hes going to cast Sin Harvest. (this sephiroth is easier than the other one in KH1) its easy once u get the trick. O and as son as the battle starts hit triangle for reaction comand.

Heres how i lvl my sora to 99 in like 15 min. To get better results its best that u have graviraga and good MP. Go to Pride lands and go to the top of Pride Rok. Ul see lots of Rapid Thruster heartles flying around. Now cast graviraga, again and again, ul see lots of MP bubbles and Lighting Shards falling from the sky. If ur short on MP just take the bubbles. After uve killed all heartless ul see the rock floor full of bubbles and items, take em all and exit. Then go back and repeat the proces. First of all, ul end up with hundreats of Lighting Shards. Second of all, ul gain loots of exp repeating the proces. Example, if u are lvl 87, i think that with 3-4 time u repeat this quick proces ul lvl up. Its easy and fast. BELIEVE ME IT WORKS! TRY IT!!!

Lol, Sephiroth. I feel stupid. I played him for hours and hours at level 43 trying to kill him.... with Gullwing as my keyblade!!!!
I was thinking Yea, I'll get extra exp cause it'll most likely be in a "critical" moment, and then I'll be like lvl 70 no prob... Yea think again! You don't get ANY experience! I must have died to him like 50 times...
Paradox Cup - That kid talking about thunder is right. Tifa always blocks all your physical attacks, and Cloud/Leon/Yuffie are usually right behind so you can't do any damage to them. After you kill Tifa, it's rather easy. I find that if you don't like magic, you can run away from her and let her approach you. As soon as you think she's gonna attack, hit guard or try and parry her attack. Then do some keyblade mumbo jumbo until she says something lame like, this "This is gonna hurt!" and run away again. You can usually kill her w/o too much difficulty, and like I said, w/o her, the group isn't much.
Stitch = Better than Peter Pan
With Peter Pan you have to summon like every round because you don't get enough orbs. With Stitch, you can summon him less than half the time, get the orbs required, and then just hack and slash your way through the rounds after that to speed the cup process up. (that's my opinion anyway)
For Pete, nothing worked better for me than Genie in Valor or Master Form. He took Pete OUT!
Well now that I'm lvl 99 with my stats maxed out, I make the matches look ridiculous. You know those big Ice/Fire Titan things that like roll and bounce around? I can kill them in seriously like 6-7 hits. I'll take an entire bar off with a critical hit. Ahhhh, I love this game. :)

Sephiroth has a pattern, you have to fight him a couple times to see it, I beat him at lvl 99 with the ultima weapon- mainly equip all your item slots with elixers so you can use one real quick if you get the chance, don't even bother with magic, just use glide 3 and when he goes for you hit square repeatly and beat the hell out of him- when hes at about half life he'll rise up and say 'heartless angel' usually this scares the crap out of you cause you know all your mp will be gone and you will have 1 hp- but in truth this move is awesome cause it gives you the chance (if your quick) to jump up and start a beat down on him you can get at least 2 bars of life off him. Be careful tho because when hes down to 1 hp, you have to finish him with a combo, I got him to 1 hp a bunch of times and died because i was still in berserk mode. Also whenever you can use a trinity on him, usually after you perform a combo to get off more life. and to whoever tried to help with my moogle synthesis - my moogle is of course rank S and I have all recipes, but in free developement i'm having a hard time getting the moogle to make anything better then what I have, and the first 3 things on the list are still question marks, and i'm using sernenity materials- I mean whats the deal??

I'm pretty positive that that's a negative. I have the Japanese version of the game and that option would have been deathly handy during the week that I played it before the US version was released.
What would be the purpose, if I may ask?

Sounds like tough nails to me if your PS2 isn't modded. Even if it couldn't play NTSC, you could always get some kid with the American ISO to convert it to PAL for you ( :) ) but you'd still need a modded PS2 to play the burned DVD...
Mod chips are just about dirt cheap these days, especially out your way. (I know a kid who has family back there, and they sent him a mod chip for a supposed 2 American dollars...)
Good luck with it though. I really feel for you, it's a great game.

You folkes know there is a 3rd kingdom of hearts game? possibly a 4th
It's not ps2 though it's Gameboy advance one I know of is Kingdom-Hearts Chain Of memories.. I believe there is a sequel
Chain of memories appears to be inbetween Kingdom Hearts I and II
basically what happens after the field in part I
It is somewhat like KH but more adventure type of GBA They meet a hooded stranger, he tells them basic layouts of the game. however most of time its sora fighting alone.. Check it out!

in regards to MOD CHIPS
Magic slide cards may work they have 2 cds that can not only play multi-region cd formats, it should also play backups, as well as backed up DVDS
AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SOLDER!
VIDEO PLAYBACk- you might be able to play most media player format videos with GAMESHARK with MEDIA PLAYER haven't got that yet tho

About Chain of Memories:
Sure I know. It's indeed set between KH I and II - exactly between them as that is. You start off where you left in KH I and end in this flowerlike thing you wake up in in KH II.
The gameplay's rather boring after a while but the story is ok, that keeps you going.
The Riku part (playable after finishing the Sora part) is IMO a little more fun since the battles seem a bit "faster".

Yeah I've a modchip and that too a Messiah back from 2002. Actually, the thing is the once in a while a good game doesnt show up here and when it does there is some serious problem with it. First it was Xenosaga episode 1, then it was star ocean (but eventually that came up), and now its Kh2.
Though it has its advantages if you know Japanese. Dirge of Cereberus has been out here for about two months now. Too bad I dont know Japanese.
I think i am gonna use bittorrent.

CoM has been out for like a year if not more. Played it; agree with AkiraFF...
The second game you are referring to is not GBA, it is still PS2, but it was only released in Japan. However it has English menus and English subtitles. (only the audio is in Japanese) It's called Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. At the end you play (and defeat) a hooded figure that in the game is known as the Enigmatic Man. He wields two light saber reminiscent weapons which might remind you something you've seen in KHII. ;)
Final Mix is basically the same game as KH1 but it has some added Easter eggs like a couple new keyblades, a video after you defeat Sephiroth where Cloud flies around and fights him called Dual of the Fates, some large jumping truffles, (these like pink and turquoise mushrooms larger than Sora himself) and of course the fight with the Enigmatic Man. I've been looking to download the iso FOREVER but can't seem to find a link. If anyone knows where I could perhaps download the iso, I'd oh so greatly appreciate it.
RovCal: Well I spose that's good for you. Does anyone know the exact size of the KHII ISO? I used to know and I would have told you so you could verify the validity of the torrent you'd be downloading from, but I lost it in an unfortunate PC tribulation.
Also, I know that there's a flaw in the American as well as Japanese ISO so that you can't (when playing from a HDD) fly any of the gummi ship missions... meaning you couldn't beat the game. Let's hope it's different for backups. Good luck once again.
