i dont get it im doing something wrong with umd gen 2.0 i drag the two files on the the program and go to save as type in a file name as .iso and then when its done it comes out as a file to be opened with winwar. i open it and its the same 2 files PSP_GAME and the UMD.DATA

Thats because u have WinRAR associaited with iso's. Open WinRAR and unclick the box with that option, now the iso will not be associated with WinRAR.

Try searching for a VCD converter to convert the VCD file to a maybe a AVI file, then try Converting that AVI file to PSP Format :)

Hey!
I just got a psp2.5 and im curious about downloading the videos.
I read the first page and PSP1.5 users do have their advantages but it doesn matter to me.You see, I just want to know whether i can download animes/series/movies from my laptop/internet and transfer it into mp4 files.Then,from there i transfer the mp4 files into my memory stick.Its not really a problem right for non-user of 1.5?No?Yes?I just dont know whether its for PSP1.5 or for all version??
Can someone explain to me...thanks!!

What do u mean? If ur talikng about extracting iso's, just use WinRAR and make sure that box is unchecked. If u mean playing iso's their is a bunch - Daxziso, devhook, fastloader, UMD Emu, Genesis loader.........

i mean for computer but it doesnt matter, i just meant so the file wasnt an unreadable file, but that doesnt make a difference, i got it to work finally i did what u said thanks man thank you both. im using umd emulator and burnout legends worked fine

@dugarolo - You can do the same with 2.5 also :)

Hi,
Sorry if I am coming in a bit late, but what I do to convert to my PSP format is drop the files into AoA mp4 converter.
Pretty good and you can either buy it or look for it in the usual places ;-)

Works with everything I have tried so far...
*IF* it does not work, you can use WinAVI to convert it to an MPG/AVI or WMV and then use the other one to again convert it to PSP (WinAvi also make a PSP converter but its not as good a AoA (IMHO))

You're welcome for the info.
I am pretty sure WinAvi will do the job for you for the VCD part,remember to drop the file to be converted from the "VIDEO" folder, sorry I dont have any VCDs here or I would have checked for you.
Heres another option that you might not have looked at, if its a popular flick, just download it off the net and then convert it via AoA, added bonus: since you downloaded it, it will be in the correct format to convert!

Again thanks for that. My question is my movie i want to convert is 2 VCDs, two .bin files.......I know very litle about video as you can tell. Will having a 2 VCD movie make this process harder? Thanks for the insight:)

Naww... shouldnt be too much of a prob although i am pretty sure winAvi wont handle .bin files.
Did a quick search on google and this is what i found:
AVI.html" class="korostus" target="_blank">http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Best/convert-bin-AVI.html
Try them out, once you have it converted to AVI then use AoA and get it to PSP format

ey stang.. ive tried a software called super c by eright soft.. compliments to sudds..;) its kinda big file 28 mb i think.. but its worth it converted my VCD file to mp4.. nice graphics.. my only prob now is how to play it on my psp.. coz when i dragged the mp4 file there... my psp cant seem to find the file.. :) if u find the solution holler if i do ill do the same heheh..:)

as ive said its kinda big.. took me an hour to download.. just used the software this morning.. dry run was pretty good.. and also as ive said still havin prob locatin it in my psp..:) more on that when i have everything straightened out..:) and itll be so sweet to get this running..:)

ey stang i think the prob is you need an extension file in order for the video to work.. before as ive said ive tried movie creator.. it had n extension file.. i didnt have a clear look whats its format but its small.. so i think i we need that to play the video..:)
