this makes me hate myself for being a exploiter and upgrading to 2.71
and not be able to do shit.
i have a japanese psp and i saw that sticker on the box thing, and i thought i chould check that, and i found out that it didnt have one, wierd. the A was for 1.50, but nothing, that means i have a 1.00?
it was 1.00 when i bought it.
this sucks, i buy the jap. psp for about 580 dollars, and i understand every hack, and exploit and have made my psp go through alot.
but when i upgraded it for 2.71(biggest mistake in my life) i was so pissed at myself. (i have a suggestion for a downgrader too, i'l post it later)

Yes, I know how you feel, I nearly upgraded my psp while accidently pressing the update umd instead of the memory stick one. I turned it off imediately.

hi, not sure if this has been answered but i have just brought a psp version 2.60. If i downgrade it and it f***ks up, if i system restore it will it be back to normal 2.60 version?

no system restore doesnt work if you mess up,but as long as you check your motherboards ok to downgrade and follow the instructions you should be fine.

Hello,
I have run into a new problem.
I have an iso of "Crash Bandicoot", one of my fav games on the ps2
I put it in the iso directory, and then fired up FastLoader... then selected the iso... but it just sits like that for around 10-20 secs then shuts down the PSP, no errors nothing.
Device hook (v0.40) is also installed, but i have gotten to using only fast loader and now dont have a clue as to how i can load the game via DH or even if DH is needed :D
Advise PLEASE!

ok i have the "visual boy" emulator and a couple of emulated GBA games from http://www.emuparadise.org/roms on my pc. i then got some emulated games from http://www.hackmypsp.com/index.php?categoryid=8&p13_sectionid=5
i then put PSPCHESS witch i got from http://www.hackmypsp.com/plugins/p13_dow...4&p13_fileid=18 and proceded to put those files into my PSP/GAME folder (or PSP/PHOTO folder if specified). I also did the same thing with the GPSP.07. I followed the instructions and putthe files in my PSP as well. So when i tried to play the Chess game on my PSP i could see the title logo but it either freezes up my PSP or i get an error message saying "this game cannot be started. the data is corrupted" I have firmware version 2.71 and according to this thread i dont need to downgrade my PSP in order to play emulated/iso/hombrew games on my PSP. What could i be doing wrong??????

Hi all..this is driving me crazy, please help!
I recently downloaded a couple of games, Godfather and Fifa 07. All the files for each game are in lots of .rar files, and also lots of other r files, in number order.
However I extract the first rar file, and when the extracting process is complete, I expect to see a iso or cso.
However I can only see the following:
PSP_GAME (containing all the USRDIR and SYSDIR files)
UMD_DATA
I'm looking for an ISO or CSO, where is it?

You can't play games just like that on 2.71, you need ELoader to play them which can be found at www.noobz.eu, it should come with instructions aswell
burdini - Go to google and search "Download UMD Gen" and download UMD Gen (the latest version), Next Open the program it should show and Drag PSP_GAME and BOOT.BIN to the white screen on UMD GEN, then press file and save as or build ISO and save it somewhere.

ok I went to www.noobz.eu and downloaded the Eloader. I read the instructions and It seems that the only way to get it to work is through the GTA method. If im wrong about this please let me know because i dont have GTA vice city stories. I was able to emulate or downgrade to 1.50 using a diffrent method. Now all i need to do is put the GBA emulated games i downloaded from http://www.emuparadise.org/roms in the right directory in my PSP but im having trouble tring to get it to work, any ideas???

It will be very hard for you to buy a V1.50 in the high street stores.
Am sure that most of the PSP,s in the shops (brand new) are V2.60, but you may be able to pick up a V2.00 from the preowned section.

Nice guide, but some stuff are old like links for example lik-sang they got close down and like number 74 and 84 is the same unless im reading something wrong. I got a question though how do u get the D pad to work, the left doesnt work anymore enen when i push it hard but if i have that plastic on the board all four buttons work...?
