That's the only burning option(Clonedvd) I don't have on this pc. LOL and you are right about the conflict in software somewhere that came bundled and I haven't found what it is yet. AnyDVD works fine but don't try to burn anything with it enabled including Clone which won't close a disc at all w or w/o anydvd enabled.

It would void the warranty. Besides I've learned to get around the problem and can do the back ups faster. I rip with Anydvd and then open rip in recode and the encoding and analyzing are faster from the HDD. And can do FabPlat if I want one step. AnyDVD and clone work right with my external burner. No, this pc is set. I'm on the fourth incarnation of installing all my stuff over.

Something I noticed with the 5.0.5.8 version last night. It wouldn't let me convert a movie to psp format. I went back to the 5.0.5.0 version, and I had no problem with the psp function then.
