Havn't really touched my psp in a while and decided to play it again recently. Just thought it would be nice to start with a firmware update to 6.39 MEv5 so that i can play all of those new games.

edit: forgot to add that my psp is psp 1001(fat)

edit2: tried looking for the instructions, ofw, and cfw to do the stuff. At the moment I got 6.39 ofw and cfw on my memory card ready to update to 6.39cfw but when I click x to install it, it says firmware is at 9.90.... any help?

edit3: got it all figured out, needed to acess flash0 with a usb cable to edit the version text so that it recongnizes at 5.50. After that it installed nicely.
