psp 5.03 to cfw with no pandora battery PLZ HELP!

Hi,
Ive looked around for something to install cfw or even official fw 1.5 on my psp phat with 5.03 without a pandora battery, but everywhere I go, the links are either dead or i have to install something first. SOMEBODY please just tell me what i need o do!!!

First of all, what kind of PSP do you have?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

I have a PSP 1002 and OFW 6.37.. I have no Pandora battery and cannot make one... Is there a way to put CFW on it? plz if there is dont just send me to a really bad tutorial link tht wont work i actually need help :)

u don know there is a way to have 6.60 CFW very easily, just update to 6.60, then get the 6.60 pro-b10 and the flasher (should be all in one packagae) then run them both from your XMB. this is assuming ur using a 1000 psp
i did it to mine. and its a pro CFW its awesome... are we allowed to post links for this stuff?

u don know there is a way to have 6.60 CFW very easily, just update to 6.60, then get the 6.60 pro-b10 and the flasher (should be all in one packagae) then run them both from your XMB. this is assuming ur using a 1000 psp

first update to 6.60 OFW, then once this file is downloaded move the PROUPDATE and CIPL_Flasher folder into ur PSP>GAME folder on ur PSP when its connected with a USB. then once it completes D/C the PSP and go to the game and memory stick option on ur XMB and run the PROUPDATE (think once it starts u have to hit X to run it), it will say some stuff then i think u might have to hit x again to run the CFW. its not done its just temporary till u run the CIPL_Flasher from the XMB just like the PROUPDATE. it will ask u to hit x again on the black screen. then it should be permanent. I think this only works on 1000s and 2000s... i know for sure 1000s but its kinda iffy on 2000s. Pandora batteries are mostly used for the older software and to unbrick a PSP. I have it on my 1000 so trust me it works!

Yes, 6.60 is the latest official firmware. Just one more thing, when you have installed 6.60 PRO, use 6.60 ME (the latest, don't know what it is actually) to update to a permanent CFW. Pro isn't, it was mostly made for the unhackable PSP 2000s, the 3000s and PSPGo.

ME is just light. plus u can play all ur converted psx games... i have over 20 eboots... on only a 16g getting another 16g here soon. look at post 5 for a complete description on how to do it... thats how i did it and i am even using CWcheat on all my psx games and everything!

Hi there :) ive gotten it to work :D! and its on permanent now! yay :) so now its on 6.60 PRO-B10 and apparently tht only temp but i had to put anther file on to make it stay there (which it is now :) )

No, CFW 6.60 ME is the most up to date real permanent custom firmware (I should know as I am using it on my year 2007 PSP 2004). What you mean is LCFW 6.60 ME, that one was created for unhackable 2000s, 3000s and Go. And about PSX-eboots, all CFWs should be able to do that.

Ok then what is the difference between ME and Pro B10? Seems to me the Pro B10 has more functionality and more compatibility with stuff... I love my pro b10 gives me everything I need including easy acess to the recovery page so I can mod my clock speeds and everything...

I don't quote, as this gets a little out of hand.
ME has more functions than 6.60, for example dual boot (you can decide if you use official firmware or custom one without having to hack again, quite useful for PSN), also full recovery menue, even if something goes wrong, you can most of the time go to recovery menue and save your PSP. If you corrupt your flash with Pro in the best case you can revive your PSP with a pandora. You can also access recovery menue by pressing select in XMB. With the rest it has the same functions as PRO.
