Hey,

I decided to take out my ps3 from the closet since I was really bored. I used to run 1.5 firmware and do the whole iso things which worked great. I gave it to my little cousin for a while and see now that its 2.60 OFW. I looked up and did some research on what to do. The options i come across are:

1. upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.50
2. upgrade to 5.03 then get chickHen
3. upgrade to 6 something using magic memory and pandora battery.

I really don't wanna do option 3 as I have to buy extra stuff. I was thinking the best way to go is to get 5.50 gen d-3 as its working well with new games. Can someone give me a guide on how to upgrade to 5.50 gen d-3 from 2.60.

My psp is the fat one the original (100's). Its a TA 082. Last question will a 512mb card be big enough for games or do i need a bigger one i remember back in the day you could compress the iso's and i could fit them onto my card.

Thanks in advance for reading and posting.

Upgrade to 6.60 official (the latest firmware out), then get 6.60 PRO-B as a homebrew enabler (the same thing as ChickHen would have been) and install 6.60 ME.
All files needed can be downloaded from the dashhacks network, just google for that.
6.60 PRO-B is a signed non-permanent custom firmware, a little like the old DevHook on 1.50. Signed means it runs on official firmwares. The installer for 6.60 ME isn't signed, so you need a HEN for it.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Cx3_Death, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP as yours is 103,768 bytes, 500x150 pixels & 1 line of text.
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.
