I have firmware 6.20. I've been using pspvideo9 for the conversions. I made the F:\PSP\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 folders where I tried renaming the videos in the M4V*****.MP4 format, no dice. I erased the MP_ROOT and 100MNV01 folders and created both a F:\PSP\VIDEO folder and a F:\PSP\MOVIE folder (at separate times of course) and did not rename the mp4 videos when putting them in them, also no luck. I have tried everything I can think of to put videos on my PSP but keep getting the same result: "There are no videos."

Please, someone out there, have mercy on my soul and help me!

Have you tried formatting your Memory stick with your PSP? Normally it should create all needed folders.

GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
