I have a fat PSP V1.5 and would like to use Custom Firmware or similar(mm33).
Tell you the truth i already have 6 year old DevHook installed on it but i can't watch MP4 movies(?) and can't play new ISO's like GOW. So i desided to change DewHook by more
stronger and stable software.
Any suggestions on what custom Firmware I should use in order to play homebrew, roms, emulators, video, music, photos, and internet browser?
How i know new games and movies don't support v1.5 anymore.
Where to start and what to do first?
Thanks.
DevHook is installed do i need to hack it still?
And i saw i need to update PSP to v.5.03 OFW and then do all CFW or anything else but...i got ERROR while trying to make update from v1.5.
"The Data is corrupted
(IDXFFFFFFFF)"
Any sugesstions?
PS: Is this a true?
"You don't have a simple solution then, the problem is that the previous owner downgraded a PSP with a recent motherboard (TA-082 or newer), and the downgrade process for those motherboards partially corrupts the flash memory.
There IS a program that fixes this and makes the PSP configuration normal again, allowing it to upgrade normally at will, but the problem is, you would have to leave your PSP homebrew-ready in order to run this program"
"You only have 2 solutions: either send it to Sony, and pay them to reset the flash to their newest firmware (they'll know your warranty is void from machine behavior); or have someone install a modchip that will allow you to flash anything you like in the PSP. Will also cost you, though."
