Hello, new here.
I've been browsing google so much and finding many things but nothing helping me EXACTLY.

So I got my PSP set up to play roms and such, all good there. Problem I'm having now is... i wanna play the psx isos and psp isos i got and I can't.

I got a PSP 3000
Running software 6.20

I got 6.35 HEN by Coldbird&VF, TN Homebrew Enabler, and HBL.

Anytime I run HEN the psp goes to a black screen and turns off. TN Homebrew Enabler makes my other emulators work, HBL runs but even when I had the demo game Patapon on it, the game loaded but nothing to do with ISO's. The closest I got was when I had Prometheus Iso Loader on it. It showed one game I had on it, I went to it, nothing loaded, same with the HBL.

For my firmware... can I get exact help?
Like... what programs do I need to get Psp and Psx iso's to work? Where EXACTLY do I put them? As of right now I had them in MS - PSP - GAME - ISOs.

Help would be very liked.

You need
a: a newer signed homebrew enabler that works with your firmware (that's one of the reasons why the 6.35 HEN didn't work):

b: For total_noob's HEN you also need an ISO loader:

Start the HEN first, then the ISO loader.

You CAN also use c: A permanent patch for the HEN so the PSP always boots into it instead of official firmware right from the start:

But that's not a must-have.

Thanks. I downloaded all of it and got it where it should be, but the total_noobs HEN does not show up on my menu to load up. Anything else i load up either goes to black screen or takes me back to the main menu.

Where did you put it?
The sdk folder goes into the root of your memory stick, from the other folder you just need the TN_HEN folder, that is in the GAME folder. Put it into your GAME folder. The two text files also go into the root of your memory stick.
